CONFIRMATORY EVIDENCE AGAINST
EATING THE UNCLEAN

I have given you all. But flesh with its life, its blood, you shall not eat.

It is an age-abiding statute, throughout your generations, in all your dwellings:
“All fat and all blood, you shall not eat.”
Leviticus 3:17
In our days, an unstoppable onslaught of
diseases and health maladies are increasingly
afflicting the world’s population. What can be
done? What are the causes? And, are there no
answers? The problem is not just a physical one:
It is also spiritual in nature. We say this because
the first mention of demons in Scripture was a
warning given in relation to not eating blood.1
Just recently, a news story featured a girl who was
possessed by demons—what the liberal news media
wants to water down and merely call “multiple
personalities.” A sad story, yet with many others
having preceded it.2 All of this shows us the
Creator knows what is best for His creation.
In Chapter One of the book, “Is All Meat Meet
to Eat?”3 it was set forth based on the Word of
hwhy that unclean animals retain their blood when
slaughtered. Because this blood is inextricable, the
warning set before us in Genesis 9 not only applies
to unclean animals, it also provides us with a great
deal of insight as to just why the flesh of unclean
animals is detestable, or abominable, to hwhy.4
This present work reviews that concept, and it adds
recently acquired, confirmatory evidence which
was not known at the time of the book’s first three
publication dates. There is actually scientific
evidence which indicates the fat (and blood) of an
unclean animal cannot be separated from its flesh!
This means it is, indeed, impossible to eat the flesh
of such creatures without also partaking of their fat
and blood.

Putting a Difference Between
the Clean and the Unclean
From Genesis to Revelation, the Scriptures set
forth the difference between clean and unclean
animal flesh.5 While Noach was instructed to
board the ark with only one pair of unclean male
and female creatures, the prophet was also directed
to take seven pairs of animals which Elohim had
stated to be “clean.”6 Further, no text in all of
Scripture can ever be cited as “proof” it is now
acceptable for humans to eat any kind of animal
flesh on this side of the Messiah’s death and
resurrection. These unfounded claims have
absolutely no basis in Scripture, and proponents of
this error can only cite references which have been
taken out of context in an effort to uphold a false,
health-depleting, man-made tradition. This

Genesis 7:1-3. Also, let us not miss the point: Noach was
centuries later called “a preacher of righteousness” by the
apostle Kepha/Peter (2Peter 2:5): the patriarch stood for the
righteousness of the Torah ordinances (Psalm 119:7, 40, 62,
106, 123, 138, 144, 142, 160, 164, 172; Romans 7:12) long
before they were codified at Mount Sinai. Noach clearly
represented hwhy in his distinguishing between the clean and
the unclean; this is something which at least some priests in
Yisrael would later fail to do. Ezekiel 22:26 Finally, we
recall the words of the Messiah: … “as it was in the days of
Noach.” Luke 17:26-27 In the days of Noach, “eating and
drinking” (the wrong foods) was a big thing amongst those
who had so soon fallen away from their Creator. So it is
today. Luke 16:15 Thus, the End-Time warning from the
prophet Isaiah warns hwhy will surely punish those who eat
swine, the mouse, and other abominations. Isaiah 65:3-7,
66:3-4,15-17
tradition nullifies the Word of hwhy which forbids
even touching the carcass of an unclean animal.7
The clear, emphatic point made by the Word is
this:
If it is forbidden to even touch unclean animals
after they are dead, then eating them is a
completely detestable proposition which
should be absolutely nowhere within
the range of human consideration!
Evidence shows that those who teach it is now
acceptable to eat “anything” are not only rejecting
the commandment of hwhy,8 they are also
introducing glaring contradictions into all of
Scripture.9 This is interesting since most
proponents of the Bible rightly teach the Scriptures
do not contradict. We concur; the Scriptures do
not contradict; hence, all of Scripture must either
be believed and accepted, or disbelieved and
rejected. The Messiah teaches us likewise, and He
stated, “Scripture cannot be broken,”10 meaning
that the truth of the immutable Torah will stand the
test of time11 – including all diabolical and all man-
made attempts to obliterate its precepts or to
undermine its existence.
The Fat and the Blood are
Strictly Forbidden
The second text seen at the outset is a perpetual
statute from the book of Leviticus:12 all the people
of hwhy have been forbidden to eat either fat or
blood for all generations.13 Doing so will never be
acceptable to the Most High for any reason! The
context of this Scripture is actually speaking about
the fat and blood of clean animals – animals which
were acceptable to offer to hwhy through the
Levitical Priesthood! The unwise dictate of King
Sha’ul, forbidding the men of Israel from eating14
although they were in the rigors of battle,15 led to
their extreme hunger and the sin of consuming

meat (in this case, clean animal flesh) with the
blood:
31 And they smote of the Philistines that day from
Michmash to Aijalon. And the people were very
faint; 32 and the people flew upon the spoil, and
took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on
the ground; and the people ate them with the
blood. 33 Then they told Sha’ul, saying, Behold,
the people sin against hwhy, in that they eat with
the blood. And he said, You have dealt
treacherously: roll a great stone to me this day. 34
And Sha’ul said, Disperse yourselves among the
people, and say to them, Bring here to me every
man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay
them here, and eat; and sin not against hwhy in
eating with the blood. And all the people brought
every man his ox with him that night, and slew
them there. 1Samuel 14:31-34
If the blood and fat of clean animals are strictly
forbidden, how much more abominable are the fat
and blood of unclean, detestable animals?!
The mother of Samson was twice warned not to eat
anything unclean while carrying her child during
pregnancy.16 We believe scientific evidence can
very likely be accumulated which shows birth
defects and disease are the results of women eating
unclean flesh while pregnant. Whenever the Most
High repeats a matter, it is an indication of very
great emphasis and importance.17
Wholesale Permission to Eat
Anything One Desires?
Taking Scripture out of context, many
erroneously teach the text of Genesis 9 is giving
mankind permission to eat anything that moves:
Every moving thing that lives shall be food
for you; as the green herb I have given you all.
But flesh with the life thereof, which is the
blood thereof, you shall not eat.
Genesis 9:3-4
Why is the above Scripture not giving us wholesale
permission to eat “anything?” In Chapter 1 of the
book, “Is All Meat Meet to Eat?” the statement
was made that blood cannot be fully extricated
from unclean creatures. This was written based on

the Genesis 9 text: while clean animals – properly
slaughtered, bled, and prepared – are admissible for
eating, one realizes this text must necessarily imply
the fat and blood of unclean animals is impossible
to extricate. With this understanding, the Scripture
in question presents no contradiction, and it also
provides us the first definition of an unclean
animal. Unclean animals are those from which the
fat and blood cannot be extricated.
“The Adverse Influence of
Pork Consumption on Health”
An Article of Great Interest
In the fall of 2005, we were blessed to have
been presented with an article which shows us
more of the truth behind this matter. This work
was entitled, “The Adverse Influence of Pork
Consumption on Health,” by Professor Hans-
Heinrich Reckeweg, M.D. This is an article which
appeared in Biological Therapy, Vol. 1, No. 2,
1983. In this article, Dr. Reckeweg, a German
medical doctor now deceased, stated the following:
Pork does not contain an enormous amount of fat,
even the so-called “lean pork,” in contrast to other
types of meat such as beef, lamb, etc. Pork
contains much intracellular fat or particles of fat
inside the cells themselves, while in other animals,
the fat is found almost exclusively outside these
cells, in the connective tissues, in the form of fat
cells. Occasionally in aged beef, it is possible to
find small amounts of fat in the cells themselves,
while in pork, the cells have generally a high
percentage of fatty particles. This can, for example
be seen when even “lean pork” is fried. It
immediately releases fat in a hot frying pan and is
usually fried “in its own fat”.18
We need to understand what this doctor and
scientist is telling us: While fat may not be visible
to the naked eye when one is looking at swine’s
flesh, the fat is, nevertheless, there; it is hidden in
the actual cells of the pig! This means
intracellular fat occurs throughout the animal (and
blood is in the fat) even being hopelessly lodged in
muscle tissue. Most readers will be familiar with a
cut of beef sitting uncooked on display in a store:

The red flesh is often surrounded with an obvious
layer of visible, off-white fat! This fat is easily
removed and avoided. Not so with pork! Even if
one removes all visible fat, there is still invisible,
inextricable fat in the inner cells of the animal’s
muscle (fleshy) tissue. Consequently, it is
impossible to eat swine without partaking of its fat
and its blood!
So our statement about unclean creatures is true,
and after so many millennia, the science of man
finally catches up to the Word of hwhy:
Unclean animals have inextricable fat and blood,
and it is impossible to eat the flesh of such
animals without partaking of
these forbidden things.
The saturated fat in pork is three times higher than
that in beef, and evidence has been given which
indicates this fat is actually found in the flesh of
the animal. Hence, those who consume pork are
certain to experience eventual (if not immediate)
sickness and disease. Concerning this aspect of
swine physiology,19 we suspect the same thing, or
other things like this, will someday be scientifically
proven for every unclean animal. And we can be
sure a Creator who possesses infinite love and
wisdom has other valid reasons for relegating
certain creatures to the realm of unclean and
detestable. How many of our readers have yet to
hear the news regarding residents of the deep
south20 who unwisely ingested armadillo meat? In
ignorance, these poor souls violated the Scriptures
and contracted leprosy from all the toxins
introduced into their bodies.21 So we ask the
question: Was all animal flesh really made
clean “at the cross?”22 If the sacrifice of the
Messiah had made all flesh “clean” when He was
nailed to the Tree at Calvary, eating armadillos
would not cause leprosy, unclean shrimp and
oysters would not cause sickness, or even death,

and eating swine would heighten one’s health. But
as it is, swine and other unclean creatures bring
marked degeneration and a host of other maladies
upon the human race, causing the Spirit of hwhy to
warn:
“My people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge” …

Man’s Science Slowly Catches Up
to Confirm the Truth of the Immutable Word
We marvel that people will listen to the man
with a white coat and stethoscope (and the title of
“M.D.”) when he tells them to stop eating pork, yet
our Creator has been telling us this very thing for
centuries, and He goes largely unheeded. The
Creator of heaven and earth is easily the Ultimate
Scientist! He certainly knows what is best for His
creation, and His directives to avoid eating the
unclean were given for our health and well being.
Righteousness Exalts a Nation
Walking in ignorance of these simple truths,
millions of Americans now suffer from failing
health: high blood pressure (from arteries clogged
with the saturated fat of pork/swine), arthritis (from
toxins in the pork), diabetes, heart attacks, strokes,
and cancer. Because eating unclean flesh is a
violation of immutable, Biblical principles,
America now faces a national health crisis of
epidemic, Biblical proportions, and the best thing
our leaders seem to be able to do is to politically
wrangle about the need for comprehensive health
care and just how to implement such a system
(which, by the way, will prove to be absolutely
powerless and helplessly ineffective before such a
staggering problem – an already irreparable crisis
which will now only worsen over time apart from
the true solution: repentance and turning back to
the all-pervasive wisdom of the ageless, immutable
Torah.) Solomon wisely put it when writing:
Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a
reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34

An Appeal to Parents
Parents! Your children need you to seek and
find the truth of this matter! They will generally
eat whatever you set before them! A thorough
study of Scripture will bear out the truth of what
we are writing, and we appeal to you to remain
humble, open, and teachable for their sakes.
Through Mosheh/Moses, hwhy said this to the
Israelites who had come forth out of Egypt:
Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they
would fear Me, and keep all My commandments
always, that it might be well with them,
and with their children for ever!
Deuteronomy 5:29
We understand there are many sincere believers in
the Messiah who have been misled by Bible
teachers who fail to see and understand the truth of
this matter. But through earnest prayer and open-
minded study, we also believe the Spirit of the
Messiah will shine the light of His Torah upon
you24 and lead you into all truth.25
Blessed Are Those Who Believe
Though They Have Not Seen
Over the last 50 years, many Messianic
believers have suffered persecution at the hands of
scoffing believers who have historically refused to
consider the truth of this all-important matter.
Please realize that by walking in this blessed truth
you are leaving a spiritual heritage for your
children’s children.26
The obedient believer will not only reap blessings
now,27 but faithfulness will also lead to many more
blessings in the resurrection, even as Sha’ul has
written: that “in the ages to come” He will “show
the exceeding riches of His favor in kindness”
toward those who fear Him.28
