Research Methodology
2. 1 Meaning of Research

2. 2 Limitation and period

2. 3 Types of data collection

2. 4 Methods of data collection

2.1 Meaning of Research :-
One of the important steps in Research process is the
preperation of Research Design. Just as a house builder prepare a
blue print of entire building before commencing the actual construc-
tion the researcher prepares a research design before commencing
the actual research “In research process includes the Research De-
sign, Research report etc.
While preparing research design the probable difficul-
ties, problems and hindrances in research work are taken into ac-
count and possible solution to these are also given. Research design
is a working plan prepared by the researcher before the actual re-
search work.
DEFINATION
1) “Research is a carefull, patient, systematic, deligent inquiry or
examination in some field of knowledge undertaken to establish
facts or priciples.”
-- Webster’s Twentieth Century Dictionary.
2) “Research is a systematic controlled, commercial and critical in-
vestigation of hypothetical proportion about the presumed relation
among natural phenomenon.”
-- Kerlinger

2.2 Limitations and Period :-
Any work have some limitations, so that the project
“Analytical study of Krishi Seva Kendras in Telhara city” have also
some limitations and period. It is very important for the project and
therefore the period of project “Analytical study of Krishi Seva
Kendras in Telhara” is 2008-2009. And the study of this project is
limited only in Telhara city.

2.3 Types of data collection :-
The structure of Research is not stable. There are vari-
ous changes in research process. Just as a house builder prepares a
blue print of the entire building before commencing the actual con-
struction the researcher prepare a research design before commenc-
ing the actual research work. And therefore there are various types
of research design. Generally there are four types of Research de-
sign they are as follows :-
Types of Reseach Design :-
1) Exploratory or formulative Design.
2) Descriptive Design.
3) Diagnostic Design.
4) Experimental Design.
For the preperation of Project Research is use the method
of Descriptive Design.
Descriptive Design :- The descriptive research design enables the
researcher to describe a present picture of a phenomenon under in-
vestigation. The methodology involved in such designs is mostly
quantitative in nature producing descriptive data. Some examples
of descriptive research are exit polls conducted by various T.V. chan-
nels and organisations describing voting pattern of electroate, the
study of drug abuse among college students in different universities
sponsored by ministry of Welfare, Govt. of India, a study of price.

2.4 Date Collection Method :-
The collection of data collection means a purposive
gathering of information relevant to the subject matter of investiga-
tion from the unit of population under investigation.
The data collection is most important thing in the project
work. In the preperation of this project report the data is collected
from both priary and secondary sources.
A) Primary Data -
i) Observation.
ii) Questionnarie.
iii) Interview.
B) Secondary Data -
i) Books.
ii) Megazines.
iii) Internet.
I have visited the following place for getting more de-
tails about Project works.
