Our agenda for 1st Regional TED Officers Meeting:

1. Announce our first partnership with Thomas Philip in cooperation with ALSA
Malaysia
2. Systematics of STEP:
a. Selection Process:
i. NC collecting all required documents for interns (registration form,
confirmation letter in purpose to confirm that the interns candidate are
ALSA Member, etc)
ii. NC have discretion to choose their own standard for interns
iii. NC give the result to Director of STEP
iv. Director of STEP, together with Director of ICG and VP of TED are in
charge for the second layer of selection process
v. Director of STEP will give the result to the firm and give the full
authority to the firm in electing their interns
b. My proposal to combining exchange and internship in one package
i. Accommodation will provided by the law firm domicile NC
ii. NC choose their own host LC for interns
iii. During the internship period, interns also doing ALSA Exchange
means that interns become the member of the appointed LC and has a
right to experience the LC event
iv. Maximum period of internship is 1 (one) month
c. After internship program
i. Interns will get an internship report fill by the firm
ii. Interns are oblige to fill the feedback form for the firm and ALSA
3. Legal System in your country
a. Explain your basic legal system
b. Is International Internship permitted in your country?
4. Job Hunting Process
a. Please listing your prestigious law firms, NGOs, GOs and companies in your
country
b. Send STEP proposal to every firms in your list
c. Ask your LCs to list ALSA members that have connection with those firms,
NGOs, GOs and companies that would makes your work easier in approaching
the firms (that firms herein after will be called prospective partners)

d. Approach ONLY for the prospective partners since your using your connection
inside the firm. The rest you just need to wait for their response don't to be too
active on that, put your full effort for our prospective partners.
e. When it comes to negotiation process, don't forget to tell the IB (either
Director of STEP, VP of TED or Director of ICG) to help you guys in
negotiating with them.
f. When we close the deal with the firm, WE, International Board will put our
full effort to send our representative to the firm domicile to sign the MoA and
MoU.
5. Student Hunting Process
a. We are not opening the registration until we are already agreed upon the
system and will talk about that on ALSA Conference in Sri Lanka.
6. Discussing national internship in cooperation with international internship, so NC will
get a chance to build their own STEP and get the benefits from our partnership
