Removing
Remove rear side panel (bottom)
Chapter.
Remove side panel trim Chapter.
Remove secondary air pump motor V101- Rep. gr.26.
Remove tail light Electrical
system; Rep. gr.94.
Take electrical connector -1- out of

bracket and move wiring harness -2clear.

Remove bolts -arrows-.

Open tank flap and detach cap from fuel

filler neck.
Disengage loop -1- of manual release
cable at rear cross member.
Move clear manual release cable -2-.
Unplug electrical connector -3-.
Note
Disregard -item 4- and -arrow-.

Remove bolts -arrows-.

Detach rear side panel (top) -1- and guide

out drain hose for fuel filler neck

upwards.
Screw filler cap back onto fuel filler
neck.

Installing
l Gap widths Chapter
l Tightening torques Chapter
Install in reverse order of removal; note the
following:
Check freedom of movement of adjuster
nut -1- of adjuster element -arrows-.
Completely screw down adjuster nut, but
do not tighten.
Insert rear side panel (top).
Tighten bolts.
Note
When tightening the bolts, the nuts of the
adjusters automatically turn towards the
mounting point on the rear side panel (top)
to lock it in place.
Install manual release cable Chapter.

t must be routed as it was prior to removal
to avoid a risk of fire.
Install drain hose for fuel filler neck

Chapter.
Install rear side panel (bottom)
Chapter.
Install side panel trim Chapter.
Install tail light Electrical
system; Rep. gr.94.
Install secondary air pump motor -V101 Rep. gr.26.
