Computational Fluid Dynamics [CFD] has become an integral element of engineering
activities in evaluating product / process in any Product Development Cycle. The
necessity for understanding Simulation from theory to practical evaluation &
Implementation has increased with rise in global demand for delivering products with
quality, accuracy and shorter lead-time.
This workshop will cover the Fundamentals aspects of Computational Fluid
Dynamics different types of numerical approaches, discretisation techniques and along
with that an introduction to FlowVision- advanced Russian Technology based CFD
solver, used in solving complex engineering problems with shorter time and better
accuracy.
We have invited experts from different industrial background to share their experience
and knowledge. The workshop aims to give participants hands on experience in solving
various problems under the following categories,

- Steady and transient state ow

- Moving Bodies
- VOF or Free Surface Tracking
- Conjugate Heat Transfer
- Mass Transfer
- Turbulence Modeling
- Fluid Structure Interaction
- Flow through Porous Media
- Non-Newtonian Fluids
This workshop intends to provide theoretical understanding, practical simulation
and project solving experience for the participants. Each participant will be provided
with individual computer and training will be based on lead and follow method, to
ensure effective learning.
Participants are encouraged to send their problem / queries in advance to
info@dhio.in, facilitating us to prepare the details and support necessary for solving it
during the workshop. We can also make arrangements for one to one interaction, with
the experts from different fields, during the workshop.
Certificate of participation will be provided to the participants at the end of the
training session.
