The five major equity averages are above their five-week modified moving averages at 17661 Dow Industrials,
2043.6 S&P 500, 4705 Nasdaq, 8937 Dow Transports and 1181.97 Russell 2000. Closes this week below all five
five-week modified moving averages will shift the weekly charts to negative, as all five will have declining MOJO.
Dow Industrials: (17673) Annual value levels are 15112 and 14557 with a weekly pivot at 17623, a monthly risky
level at 17889, the Dec. 26 all-time intraday high at 18103.45, and semiannual and quarterly risky levels at 18328,
18744 and 19600.
S&P 500 (2051.8) Weekly and annual value levels are 2035.4, 1585.9 and 1558.2 with a semiannual pivot at
2053.3, the Dec. 29 all-time intraday high at 2093.55 and semiannual, monthly and quarterly risky levels at 2102.2,
2114.6 and 2268.9.
NASDAQ (4758) Weekly, semiannual and annual value levels are 4672, 4715, 4635, 3901and 3596 with the
Dec.26 multiyear intraday high at 4814.95, and monthly and quarterly risky levels at 4994 and 5245.
Dow Transports (8982) Weekly, semiannual and annual value levels are 8771, 8655, 8452, 7289 and 6635 with
the Nov. 28 all-time intraday high at 9319.33 and monthly and quarterly risky levels at 9559 and 10009.
Russell 2000 (1188.93) Annual value levels are 975.84 and 954.08 with weekly, monthly and semiannual risky
levels at 1201.23, 1201.97 and 1207.39, the Dec.29 all-time intraday high at 1220.81 and semiannual and quarterly
risky levels at 1287.98 and 1382.55.
The SOX (680.54) Semiannual and annual value levels are 619.34, 600.94 and 432.78 with a weekly pivot at
681.98, the Dec. 8 multiyear intraday high at 704.44 and monthly and quarterly risky levels at 718.95 and 763.90.
Dow Utilities: - (647.78) Monthly and annual value levels are 603.89, 525.86 and 510.04 with semiannual and
quarterly pivots at 621.93 and 627.50, the Jan. 21 all-time intraday high at 650.04 and weekly risky level at 650.26.
10-Year Note (1.805%) A quarterly value level is 3.147% with monthly, semiannual and weekly pivots at 2.079%,
1.921% and 1.876, and semiannual and annual risky levels at 1.589%, 1.342% and 0.715%.
30-Year Bond (2.382%) A quarterly value level is 3.690% with annual, semiannual, monthly and weekly pivots at
3.013%, 2.949%, 2.710% and 2.354%, and semiannual and annual risky levels at 2.177% and 2.169%.
Comex Gold ($1294.4) Monthly and quarterly value levels are $1168.3 and $893.0 with a weekly pivot at $1294.6,
and semiannual and annual risky levels at $1348.9, $1580.7 and $1816.9.
Nymex Crude Oil ($45.38) This weeks value level is $38.55 with the Jan. 2009 low at $33.20. Monthly and
semiannual risky levels are $66.59 and $81.58. Oil traded between $44.20 and $51.27 the last two weeks.
The Euro (1.1207) Fridays low was 1.1113 as the euro continues to slip towards parity versus the dollar.
Weekly, monthly, semiannual, quarterly and annual risky levels are 1.1334, 1.1841, 1.2828, 1.2899 and 1.3551.
The Dollar vs Japanese Yen (117.77) A semiannual value level is 112.09 with a monthly pivot at 117.83 and
weekly and quarterly risky levels at 119.54 and 124.52.
The British Pound (1.4989) An annual value level is 1.2801 with weekly, monthly, quarterly and semiannual risky
levels at 1.5065, 1.5643, 1.5821 and 1.6289.

Trading Levels for 16 Key Exchange-Traded Funds

The Diamonds Trust (DIA), the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) and the Nasdaq 100 ETF (QQQ) ended last week with neutral
weekly charts with closes above their five-week modified moving averages with declining 12x3x3 weekly slow
stochastic readings. Materials, Energy and Financials have negative weekly charts. .
The Commodity Fund (GSG) has an 11.1% loss and is the weakest ETF, 70% weighed to energy and crude oil.
The best year-to-date performers are the 20+ year U.S. Treasury fund (TLT) with a gain of 7% and the Gold Trust
ETF (GLD) with a gain of 9.4%.
