1st Year
Analytic Geometry and Linear Algebra: This subject aims to work with
vectors, lines and planes, as well as represent them graphically. Studies with
matrices, linear equations and the concepts of linear algebra. The study
allows having notions about matrices, determinants, linear systems, vectors,
lines, planes, angles and distances, vector spaces and linear
transformations.
Physics I: This subject aims to understand the basic phenomena and
principles inherent in the laws of Newton. The content is related to the
notions of Measurement, Vectors, Motion in One Dimension, Motion in a
Plane Dynamics of a Particle, Work and Energy, Conservation of Energy,
Conservation of Linear Momentum and Collisions, the behavior of liquids and

Physics Laboratory I: This subject aims to understand the basic

thermodynamics in the study of electrochemical processes.
General Chemistry Laboratory: This subject aims at improving attitudes
techniques, applying the work of laboratories. The content involves notions
of fundamental techniques and laboratory safety, Study of Matter, Split
System a miscible liquid - liquid, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics and
Chemical Equilibrium.
Basic Design: This subject aims to solve problems of building technical
design, graphically represent objects through the projection system and the
orthographic views, read and interpret the technical design. The content is

and application formats roles, drawing scales, dimensioning, axonometric
projections and Orthographic Views.
Introduction to Mechanical Engineering: This subject aims to integrate
the student undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering UNESP

related to notions about the course program of Mechanical Engineering
UNESP Guaratinguet and professional aspects of Mechanical Engineering

Introduction to Scientific Methodology: This subject aims to enable the
student to understand the factors related to the development of scientific

Steel Works and Casting: The subject aims are to clarify the basics of the
process of obtaining, refining and mechanical forming of steel in a
integrated steel industry, as well to explain basics of solidification of metals
and study the main processes of metal casting.

2nd Year

Differential and Integral Calculus II: This subject aims to calculate


double integrals, triple, line and surface, aiming geometric applications and
physical, cylindrical and spherical coordinates use to calculate triple
integrals or surface, characterize conservative fields find the potential
function, calculate the rotational and divergence of vector fields and
interpret the results and use the Fundamental Theorem and the theorems of
Green, Stokes and divergence.

Mechanical Design: This subject aims to promote knowledge of the


functioning of computer and software using AutoCAD, as well as its use in
the industrial environment through the planning process assisted by
computer. The content is related to the notions of Design Elements of
Machines (design of assemblies, detail drawing, parts list and legends and
standard components), Explode and Prospects of Animation Kits Assembled.
Physics II: This subject aims to gain basic understanding of electrical
phenomena, magnetic and optical nature and acquire the ability to describe
them mathematically, solve problems and issues related to these topics and
