Progress needs to be defined and measured in a way which accounts
for the broader picture of human mind development.
Change is inevitable and essential for growth. We have an equal opportunity to get , improve as a person and achieve a better quality of life. Hope and optimism are free and resources are abundant. The convergence between theorical and practical application should help us discover new ways of doing things amidst the challenge of faithfulness to tradition against pragmatism. Have no fear in trying new ideas, ultimately, what is best for many should transcend to others. It is a high time for us to reflect on the current situation of our province, of our region, and to top it all of our country. We do not just see a distressing need for change, we also hear an echoing call for action. And only true leaders, true followers can accept the change and pave the way to answer the call to do something. We deserve every opportunity, every chance and every advantage to finally grow and develop. Let us work hard to redeem the greatness that was once ours. Who would ever forget the very young note-worthy leader from the land of Oragons, Secretary Jessie Robredo, who was once ever loved, ever admired by us. He is a silent, honest, worthy and hardworking public servant and leader whose courage and determination to combat the seemingly unstoppable illegal deeds of some well-known high profile personalities were greatfully well-done and solved through his simple tactics and concrete, clean actions. From being a simple servant of Naga City as a Municipal Mayor he became the DILG Secretary because of his balanced and Progressive Attitude and Thinking. He believed that justice and equality will prevail if we practice Honest and Good governance. He is indeed a deepest sorrow on our part, the government lost a fine man to emulate, but then it encourages us to continue his legacy of good governance. How can we achieve Karahayan sa Kagabsan if we Bicolanos never tend to progress our mind. Together, we must stand for Economic Development, we should stretched our hands to protect our region. Let us extend our benevolence to our fellow Bicolanos to reach farther, we all work hard to be more productive individuals. If we can make it here in our province then we can influence the other provinces and soon our nation. Bicolanos! Educate ourselves, it would truly mean our life. It is being responsible for causing our existence, we are caretaker of our place.
