New Products:

New Laser Printable Adhesive Film. HPS offers a new line of media coated specifically for use in in most desktop
color laser printers. Self adhesive polyester film that is ideal for making professional looking glossy white or clear production labels and placards.
HPGC: Clear permanent self-adhesive polyester film.
HPGW: Glossy white permanent self-adhesive polyester film.
HPUC: Clear ultra removable film (Clear ultra cling).
HPUW: White ultra removable film (White ultra cling).
Blue-Line Laser. New in 2013 improved static cling that can be used in most desktop color laser printers. This media
has blue protective strip on the leading edge and is designed to feed easily through laser printers. Coated by HPS LLC
specifically for use in desktop color laser printers.
BAKE ON WATER-SLIDE DECAL PAPER: Use our new bake on decal paper to make extremely durable water-slide
decals. Bake on or cure these decals onto heat resistant substrates such as: glass, glazed ceramic, porcelain, and
metal painted with a heat resistant paint. Curing takes place at around 300F. This media is intended for use most
desktop color laser printers, but may also work in some older HP laser printers. Item Code: PAS/Z.
INKJET CLEAR ULTRA CLING. This media is ideal for substrates such as mirrors, interior windows, or interior doors.
Since our static cling relies strictly on static to adhere to the substrate there is no possibility of an adhesive residue being left behind once the cling is removed. Print out your text and/or images on this clear media, remove the cling from
the liner, and apply it to the substrate.
Ultra Cling versus Static Cling. Static cling works best on indoor substrates such as mirrors, windows or glass
doors that or interior painted metal surfaces. You can find out static cling in many hospitals, doctor's offices, and
schools. Our static cling is much more aesthetically pleasing than taping signs to walls. Use this media to provide that
critical extra bit of professionalism for your clients

All of our vinyl products are made from quality cast vinyl, with a
permanent pressure sensitive adhesive backing. We make
waterproof white matte vinyl in addition to our white and
clear/transparent vinyl. Use our regular vinyl indoors for labels
or point of sale displays whether temporary or permanent. Outdoors our regular vinyl can be used with our over-laminate for
temporary labels. The life of an outdoor label made with our
regular vinyl will depend on the quality of the over-lamination
job. Make sure
that no moisture will be able to reach the
label
after the over-laminate is applied. Extend
the over-laminate beyond the edges of the
label and only apply to flat, nonabsorbent substrates such as: automotive
paint, chrome, glass, etc. For a longer lasting outdoor label, we strongly recommend the use of our waterproof over-laminate WOL .

In 2012 the our Clear Ultra Cling has now been made by HPS for just over 5 years. This glossy clear ultra cling vinyl can be peeled off
of almost any substrate safely, making it ideal for temporary labels of any kind. This media is perfect for making window stickers for the
inside of car windows. You can make these labels by printing a mirror image on this media then covering it with a white window film

To make car window decals:

1) Order our Clear Ultra Cling. (For inkjet or laser printers)
2) Print a mirror image on the clear ultra cling.
3) Spray the artwork with the white window masking spray.
4) When you peel off the cling liner, your artwork will appear vivid on the white background as seen through the
ultra cling side.
5) Apply to the inside of any window for a professional looking decal.
Our Papilio Ultra Cling is covered on one side by a printable
coating and on the other by a special cling substance that uses revolutionary micro-spear technology to CLING to substrates. It holds like a regular adhesive but when it comes

Create temporary tattoos limited only by your imagination!
Not to be used on or by minors or children unter the age of 12.
Tattoo preparation:
1) On the glossy side of the media, print a mirror image (if the tattoo
contains text) of your art using settings for transparency media
and normal resolution.
2) After a successful test print, print on the temporary tattoo paper.
Let the ink dry for at least 10 minutes before use.
Tattoo Transfer Adhesive Instructions:
1) After printing, remove one liner and press the adhesive sheet
firmly onto the tattoo (tattoo paper).
2) Peel off the other clear liner before pressing the tattoo onto the
skin.
3) Soak the paper with warm water. Wait 20-30 seconds then slide
the paper away. If the paper does not move freely the wait a bit
longer.

may develop a reaction to even a

Inkjet printers. This media will accept highest DPI resolution printing for clear, sharp images. To ensure good results
we recommend the use of our Papilio Decal Fixative as we
can not guarantee satisfactory results from any other commercially available acrylic or oil enamel aerosol products. We
encourage the use of the Papilio Decal Mounting Fluid as well
as the Rubber Decal Squeegee (Page 20) for best results.
PAS/2 Our original Papilio Aqua Slide paper has been unchanged since 1994. The PAS/2 paper can be used in most
color laser printers, except some Hewlett Packard models.
PAS/4 Similar to our PAS/2 media but with a slightly stiffer
coating.
PAS/N Like our PAS/2 media but with a softer film that can
be formed onto slightly curved items using a heat gun or even
a hair dryer.
PAS/Z The PAS/Z paper is designed for use in the new high
heat desktop color laser printers such as the HP 2550. The
PAS/2, PAS/4, PAS/N and PAS/Z papers do NOT require the
decal fixative, but we strongly recommend the Papilio Decal
Mounting Fluid & Rubber Decal Squeegee (Page 20).
IRO An ideal media for transferring images to substrates that
may not accept water-slide decal paper, or where clear inkjet
vinyl is too thick. Examples are: un-painted wood, marble,
slate, leather, paper, and some plastic substrates that may not
accept water slide decals. Our rub-on decal paper must be
used with our Rub-On Tack (Page 18).
Note: Papilio inkjet water decal paper should not be used in
a color laser as it may cause damage to you printer.

Our Laser Polyester Media is available in glossy white and clear
with either a permanent or ultra removable adhesive.
We have adhesive polyester film available for use in most color
laser printers. For high heat printers such as the HP2550 use
the products beginning with HP for most other color laser
printers look for our GL line (Page 13) .
Ideal for making production labels and permanent markings. The
permanent adhesive on our laser polyester allows for removal
and repositioning before becoming permanent, to allow for mistakes. Perfect for plastics such as: PVC, HDPE, and LDPE bottles
also on glass, metal, most any substrate that will accept adhesive
media.

The BlueLineLaser vinyl adhesive and static cling is printable im most desktop color laser printers.
We offer this media in Static Cling and with permanent and
removable adhesive.

Instructions:
Never work with this urethane if the temperature is below 72F.
Ideal mixture ratio = 85% Part A to 15% Part B or
Mix 1 Part B to 5 Parts A for a faster curing time.
Mix only the amount you intend to use.
Mix together in a small disposable container then pour the
combined mixture into another container continuing to
stir for a few minutes.
Let sit for 15 minutes before use.
Pot life = 3 Hours (Depends on humidity/temperature).
Curing time is 6 to 8 hours, and reaches full strength in a
full days.
Use Acetone for cleanup if required. We encourage the
use of disposable mixing sticks, cups, and foam pads. Foam
pads are available from HPS.

Our Canvas dry transfer paper is a new media to transfer
images to porous substrates.

About the Canvas Transfer Paper

Even though this paper was developed to transfer digitally
generated images and artwork to pre-stretched canvas transfer to other porous substrates is just as viable. The Canvas
Transfer Paper/film can be successfully used to transfer artwork to many different substrates that are porous. This transfer paper works equally well on drywalls that have been finished with various types of textured paint, it also works well
on different types of naturally porous items such as: unfinished wood, sand-stone, slate, marble, unglazed ceramic,
leather, terra cotta and so on.

This paper and transfer paper is NOT recommended on

substrates having a glossy or non porous finish.

A) Print on the glossy side of the paper using any personal inkjet desktop printer. In general high resolution
and glossy paper/film setting in your printer driver will
give the best results. Using regular paper setting in you
printer driver will NOT give satisfactory results.
B) Before transferring the image off the paper onto the
canvas you must spray the paper using Papilio Crystal
Clear Adhesive Spray. (Do NOT spray the canvas or
other substrate you are transferring the image to. Spray
the adhesive ONLY on the paper).
C) Allow the adhesive to dry for 20 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
D) Apply the paper face down onto the canvas and
press firmly. Let the paper and canvas mate for 10-20
minutes.
E) Gently peel the paper away. The film/image should
remain on the canvas (or the substrate you are transferring to) If the film wants to lift off the canvas by
wanting to stay with the paper, put you finger inbetween the paper and the film and press the film back
down onto the canvas as you gently keep on peeling

the paper away.

F) To make the texture of the substrate (canvas, drywall,
slate) become as "a part" of the image, firmly press down on
the film and it will form to the texture of the substrate

To use our Metallic Heat Transfer Foils, print an image
with your black and white laser printer, then transfer the
metallic foil to the image by using either a hot laminator or
even a common domestic iron.

Transflat 100 paper is designed to transfer laser images onto
almost any substrate that can be heat pressed. Some substrates such as metal plates and wood must be prepared using an aerosol primer before using this paper. The Transflat
100 is NOT a t-shirt transfer paper. For T-shirt transfer order Cottontrans DT from www.papilio.com
Printing
Print onto this paper using any late model desktop color laser printer such as the HP 2550, HP 3600, QMS 2300W, or
OKI 4500. Most other models can also be used successfully.
Print using only the plain paper setting. Do NOT select
glossy paper in your printer driver.

Instructions
The Transflat 100 is transfer paper that will release
100% of its polymer coating when peeled. Backing
should peel away with ease.
To get familiar with the process we recommend
using one sheet to make several smaller images for
testing pressure and time needed using your equipment.

As a general rule this paper MUST be used in a heat press.

You can achieve excellent results using this paper to transfer
images onto most thin flat items such as vinyl coated thick
flexible magnetic (available from www.papilio.com) white,
clear, metallic self-adhesive polyester, brass, copper, aluminum sheets and ceramic tiles, or any item that you can fit
into your heat press that can withstand the heat and pressure.
Dye-sub coated Ceramic Mugs.
For this step you must use a mug press and glazer unit.
Trim the paper leaving a 1/4 edge around the image. Tape
the paper onto the mug face down using a tape that can withstand the heat. Press for 60 seconds at 300 F
Run the mug through your glazing unit for 2 full cycles.

The Cottontrans DT is an amazing new t-shirt transfer paper.

This paper is easy to use in modern printers and prints in vibrant
colors. This paper produces extremely durable transfers that
have a soft hand feel. Cottontrans DT can be used on 100%
Cotton, Cotton Polyester blends, as well as on polyester.
Even though this paper is developed for t-shirt transfers it may
also be used for other, less demanding, digital image transfers
onto promotional items, such as: cardboard, mouse pads, leather,
canvas, chip-board, and even wood.
