1. Hypocrisy (n)- a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what
one does not; Mr. Cortina is without hypocrisy in his morals, as
he is loving to orphans and faithful to the Church.

Dote (v)- to be lavish or excessive in one's attention, fondness, or
affection; Mr. Cortina loves to dote A's upon his favorite student,
Daniel Cruz.

Credulous (adj)- ready to believe especially on slight or uncertain
evidence; Mr. Cortina is not very credulous, as he saw through
the cheap ruse of cardboard Halo cutouts.

Lethargy (n)- abnormal drowsiness; Mr. Cortina is not pleased
with Jack Lasseter's constant lethargy in sixth period.

Populous (adj)- densely populated; Mr.Cortina's classroom has
always been a populous area, full of students fully prepared for
class.

Strumpet (n)- a prostitute; Mr. Cortina could never be considered
a strumpet, as he dresses tastefully and does not flaunt his body
in front of his students.

Beguile (v)- to lead by deception; Mr.Cortina beguiled me into
believing that he was not very good at X-BOX games by allowing
me to beat him multiple times, only to later destroy me in every
round.

Iniquity (n)- gross injustice;The greatest iniquity that has ever
occurred is the lack of Mr. Cortina posters in circulation.

Amends (n)- compensation for a loss or injury; I had to make
amends with Mr. Cortina for using him as the subject for my
vocabulary list.

would never receive a censure from me, as I love him.

insinuated in French that Mr.Cortina enjoys de la pizza very
much.
14. Mettle (n)- vigor and strength of spirit or temperament; Mr.
Cortina is full of mettle, as he is very patient and kind with his
noisy classes.

Maim (v)- to mutilate, disfigure, or wound seriously; Mr. Cortina
maimed my velociraptor-esque friend, Mark Ornealas, with a
lightsaber.
Malice (n)- desire to cause pain, injury, or distress to another; I
bear no malice towards Mr.Cortina, as he is the reincarnation of
Buddha.
Iterate (v)- to say or do again or again and again; Mr.Cortina
iterated that there would be no violence in his class multiple
times.
