If one unit of manufacture costs $199, how much do three cost? How much will they
cost with 5% tax added on?
Three units of manufacture would cost $597. If a five percent tax is added to that price the units
would cost $626.85 total.

Each cargo container holds 3,500 units of manufacture. A ship usually holds 1,780
shipping containers. How many units can you put on one ship?
With 1,780 cargo containers, 6,230,000 units of manufacture can be shipped.

Each unit of manufacture costs 3 cents per mile to ship. How much would it cost to
ship the cargo described in the above prompt from Seoul, South Korea to New York
City. For the above 6,230,000 units of manufacture to travel the 6864 miles from Seoul to New York at
three cents per unit per mile would cost $128,290,000,000.

General Job Questions:

Why are you applying for this position?
I am interested to spread my ideas and learn how other inventors are using energy.

What have been your greatest accomplishments and or inventions?

I invented the Tessa Coil and wireless transmittion as well as x-Rays, radio, the basis for television, and a space
ship.

Why do you believe in the "cause" of manufacturing and industry?*

If an employee from another company tried to bribe you to steal company secrets,
what would you do?
I would not comply with his demands and report such behavior to a manager.

A manager treats a worker unfairly, what would you do?

Though the common response is unionization, I have a history of moving on to find other work if I am not compensated or my ideas
are stolen.

How do you feel about a 75-hour workweek?

I would not be opposed to such hours as I am eager to work and dedicated to improving upon my
previous inventions. Additionally, previous experience with such hours has left me accustomed to hard
work.

Industry was sparked in post-Enlightenment Britain whose new found Scientific Knowledge and
democratic government put them in a situation where they could finally make use of the vast stores of
coal lying just below the surface. The isolated island territory that did not suer from the constant plague
of war seen in the main land had an ever growing population that prompted manufacturers to increase
production and meet the increasing demand. The final factor that determined industries hearth were the
higher wages which encouraged Great Britain to find cheaper sources of energy.
