The well marked LOPAR lies over SW Bay of Bengal off North Srilanka-Tamilnadu coast. The system
would further intensify into a Depression during next 24 hours.
Cold wave conditions prevailed over some parts of the districts of Adilabad & Medak of Telangana
State.
Rain occurred at isolated places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema and weather
has been dry over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.

followed by (a) belongs to Automatic Weather Station. NCAP: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari & West
Godavari. SCAP: Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam & Nellore. NTLNG: Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Medak.
Legend for rainfall:
Minimum temperatures markedly rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and
appreciably rose at a few places over Telangana & at one or two places over Rayalaseema. They were
appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema, but appreciably
below normal at a few places over Telangana. The lowest minimum temperature of 17 deg Celsius was
recorded at Kalingapatnam & Nandigama in Andhra Pradesh State and 7 deg Celsius was recorded at
Adilabad in Telangana State respectively.
Forecast & Farmers' weather bulletin valid until the morning of 1st January 2015:
Day 1 (29.12.2014) & Day 2 (30.12.2014): Light to moderate rain or thundershowers would occur at
isolated places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Dry
weather would prevail over Telangana.
Day 3 (31.12.2014): Moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers would occur at a few places over
South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Light to moderate rain or
thundershowers would occur at isolated places over Telangana.
