The Limited Warranty terms herein apply to countries in Asia, Oceania, Latin

a. For Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Israel and Turkey, the general warranty period
shall be two (2) years.
b. For Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan,
Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, please refer to the last
pages of this hardcopy warranty booklet in Russian.

LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY

D-Link provides Limited Warranty for its product only to the person or
entity that originally purchased the product from D-Link or its authorized
reseller or distributor. D-Link will fulfill the warranty obligations according to
the local warranty policy of the country where you purchased your D-Link
product.
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase from D-Link or its
authorized reseller or distributor. You may be required to provide a proof
of purchase as a condition of receiving a warranty service. Your sales or
delivery receipt, showing the date of purchase of the product, is your proof
of purchase. You are entitled to warranty service if required within the
warranty period under the terms and conditions of this document.

Any claim under this limited warranty must be submitted in writing before the end
of the warranty period to a Service Office with a written description of the Hardware
defect or Software nonconformance in sufficient detail to allow D-Link to confirm
the same. The original product owner must obtain a Return Material Authorization
(RMA) number from the Service Office and, if requested, provide written proof of
purchase. After an RMA number is issued, the defective product must be packaged
securely in the original or other suitable shipping package to avoid damage in transit
with RMA number prominently marked outside the package. The packaged product
shall be insured and shipped to a Service Office with shipping costs prepaid. D-Link
may reject or return any product not packaged and shipped in strict compliance with
foregoing requirements, or for which an RMA number not visible outside the package.
The product owner agrees to pay reasonable handling and return shipping charges
for product not packaged and shipped in accordance with foregoing requirements, or
that determined by D-Link not to be defective or non-conforming.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The limited warranty provided by D-Link does not cover:

Products that have been subjected to abuse, accident, alteration, modification,

tampering, negligence, misuse, faulty installation, lack of reasonable care, repair or
service in any way that is not contemplated in the documentation for the product, or
if the model or serial number has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed;
damage that occurs in shipment, due to act of God, failures due to power surge,
and cosmetic damage; and any hardware, software, firmware or other products or
services provided by anyone other than D-Link or any Service Office.

LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY

D-Links sole obligation shall be to repair or replace the defective Hardware
(or any part thereof) at no charge to the original owner. Such repair or
replacement will be rendered at an Authorized D-Link Service Office (Service
Office). The replacement Hardware need not be new or of an identical model
or part; D-Link may in its discretion replace the defective Hardware with
any reconditioned product that D-Link reasonably determines substantially
equivalent or superior in all material respects to the defective Hardware.
The warranty period shall extend for an additional ninety (90) days after any
repaired or replaced Hardware is delivered. If a material defect is incapable
of correction, or if D-Link determines in its discretion that it is not practical
to repair or replace the defective Hardware, the price paid by the original
purchaser will be refunded upon return to D-Link of the defective Hardware. All
Hardware shall become the property of D-Link upon replacement or refund.

conform to its then current functional specifications from the date of original delivery
for a period of ninety (90) days, if properly installed and operated on approved

the terms and conditions of the license granted by D-Link. The warranty period shall

(ou qualquer parte do mesmo) . Esse reparo ou substituio ser executado
em uma Assistncia Tcnica Autorizada da D-Link. A D-Link poder, a seu
critrio, substituir o Hardware defeituoso por qualquer produto que a D-Link
considere equivalente ou superior em todos os aspectos materiais ao Hardware
defeituoso. O Perodo da Garantia ser prorrogado por mais noventa (90) dias
aps o Hardware reparado ou substitudo for entregue. Se um defeito material
for incapaz de ser corrigido, ou se a D-Link determinar, segundo seu prprio
critrio, que no ser prtico reparar ou substituir o Hardware defeituoso, o
valor pago pelo comprador original ser restitudo com a devoluo D-Link do
Hardware defeituoso. Todo Hardware tornar-se- propriedade da D-Link aps a

GARANTIA LIMITADA DO SOFTWARE

A D-Link garante que a parte de software deste produto ("Software")
ser substancialmente compatvel com as suas especificaes atuais de
funcionamento da data da entrega original por um perodo de noventa (90)
dias, desde que adequadamente instalado e operado em hardware aprovado.
A nica obrigao da D-Link ser substituir o Software no conforme. O
Software substituto ser fornecido somente ao licenciado original e estar
sujeito aos termos e condies da licena concedida pela D-Link. O perodo da
garantia ser prorrogado por mais noventa (90) dias aps qualquer Software
substituto ser entregue. Se uma no conformidade de material for incapaz de
ser corrigida, ou se a D-Link determinar, segundo seu prprio critrio, que no
possvel substituir o Software no conforme, o preo pago pelo licenciado
original ser restitudo pela D-Link, desde que o Software no conforme (e
todas as suas cpias) sejam primeiramente devolvidos para a D-Link. A licena
concedida em relao a qualquer Software para o qual o reembolso for feito
terminar automaticamente.

O QUE VOC DEVE FAZER PARA O SERVIO

DE GARANTIA
Qualquer reclamao sujeita a esta garantia limitada dever ser apresentada
por escrito antes do trmino do Perodo de Garantia a uma Assistncia Tcnica
Autorizada com uma descrio por escrito do defeito do Hardware ou no
conformidade do Software com detalhes suficientes para permitir que a D-Link
confirme o mesmo. O proprietrio original do produto precisar ligar para o
Suporte Tcnico e apresentar a Nota Fiscal de Venda para obter um nmero de
Autorizao de RMA (RMA - Return Material Authorization). Aps a emisso do
nmero de RMA, o produto defeituoso deve ser embalado de forma segura, na
caixa original ou em embalagem apropriada, de forma a garantir que no seja
danificado durante o transporte, devendo o nmero do RMA ser marcado de
forma visvel no lado externo da embalagem. O produto embalado dever ser
remetido para uma Assistncia Tcnica Autorizada. A D-Link poder rejeitar ou
devolver qualquer produto que no esteja embalado ou enviado estritamente
de acordo com os requerimentos anteriores, ou quando o nmero da RMA no
for visvel do lado de fora da embalagem. O proprietrio do produto ir pagar
os custos de manuseio e devoluo de qualquer produto que no tenha sido
empacotado e enviado de acordo com os requerimentos anteriores, ou que
tenham sido avaliados pela D-Link como no tendo defeitos ou no conformes.

O QUE NO EST COBERTO

A garantia limitada fornecida pela D-Link no cobre:
Produtos, que no julgamento da D-Link tenham sido sujeitos a abusos,
acidentes, alterao, modificao, adulterao, negligncia, uso
indevido, instalao defeituosa, falta de cuidado, qualquer conserto
ou servio que no esteja contemplado na documentao do produto,
ou se o modelo ou nmero de srie tiver sido alterado, adulterado,
apagado ou removido; danos que ocorram no transporte, sejam por
fora maior, falhas devidas a falta de energia, e danos aparentes; e
qualquer hardware, software, firmware ou outros produtos ou servios
fornecidos por qualquer outro que no a D-Link ou qualquer Escritrio
de Servios.

PROTECTING AGAINST
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE
Static electricity can harm delicate components inside your system. To prevent static damage, discharge static
electricity from your body before you touch any of the electronic components, such as the microprocessor. You
can do so by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface on the chassis.
You can also take the following steps to help prevent damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD):
1. When unpacking a static-sensitive component from its shipping carton, do not remove the
component from the antistatic packing material until you are ready to install the component in your
system. Just before unwrapping the antistatic packaging, be sure to discharge static electricity from
your body.
2. When transporting a sensitive component, first place it in an antistatic container or packaging.
3. Handle all sensitive components in a static-safe area. If possible, use antistatic floor pads,
workbench pads, and an antistatic grounding strap.

Operate the device only from the type of external power source indicated on the electrical ratings label.
To help avoid damaging your device, be sure the voltage selection switch (if provided) on the power

Use only approved power cable(s). If you have not been provided a power cable for your device or for

When connecting or disconnecting power to hot-pluggable power supplies, if offered with your device,
observe the following guidelines:
Install the power supply before connecting the power cable to the power supply.
Unplug the power cable before removing the power supply.
If the system has multiple sources of power, disconnect power from the device by unplugging all power
cables from the power supplies.
Servicing/Disassembling
Do not service any product except as expressly set forth in your system documentation.
Opening or removing covers that are marked with the triangular symbol with a lightning bolt may expose
you to an electrical shock. Only a trained service technician should service components inside these
compartments.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, never disassemble this device. None of its internal parts are userreplaceable; therefore, there is no reason to access the interior.
Do not spill food or liquids on your system components, and never operate the device in a wet
environment. If the device gets wet, see the appropriate section in your troubleshooting guide or contact
your trained service provider.
Use the device only with approved equipment.
Move products with care; ensure that all casters and/or stabilizers are firmly connected to the system.
Avoid sudden stops and uneven surfaces.
Environment
Do not use this device near water (e.g. near a bathtub, sink, laundry tub, fish tank, in a wet basement or
near a swimming pool).
Do not use this device in areas with high humidity.
This device must not be subjected to water or condensation.
Keep your device away from radiators and heat sources. Also, do not block cooling vents.
Cleaning
Always unplug the power before cleaning this device.
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners of any kind. Use only compressed air that is recommended for
electronic devices.
Use a dry cloth for cleaning.

Power Sources
Observe and follow service markings.
Do not push any objects into the openings of your device unless consistent with the authorized
operation of the device. Doing so can cause a fire or an electrical shock by shorting out interior
components.
The powering of this device must adhere to the power specifications indicated for this product.
Do not overload wall outlets and/or extension cords as this will increase the risk of fire or electrical
shock.
Do not rest anything on the power cord or on the device (unless the device is made and expressly

on or tripped over. Be sure that nothing rests on any cables.
