TEACHING SPEAKING BY USING EVERYONE IS ATEACHER HERE

STRATEGY
AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

ABSTRAK
Penulisan jurnal ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengunaan strategi Everyone
is a Teacher Here dalam pengajaran teks narrative pada siswa SMA. Berbicara adalah
salah satu komponen bahasa yang penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Namun
kebanyakan dari siswa memiliki kesulitan dalam berbicara dan memahami sebuah
teks. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangmya kosa kata (vocabulary), kurangnya
kepercayaan diri untuk berbicara dan ketidakpahaman siswa tentang organisasi
(generic structure) dalam teks. Strategi Everyone is A Teacher Here bisa menjadikan
siswa lebih termotivasi untuk berbicara dan senang dalam menerima pelajaran bahasa
Inggris dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai, kemudian dari proses tersebut
diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bicara siswa dan juga menjadikan siswa
lebih kreatif dan aktif dalam bahasa Inggris.
