The Adventures of Marek in the Rolland

Chapter 1 - The Beginning Of the Days (Rolland)

The creator of Rolland was called Ula. In the ancient language of the Rolland pe
ople he was called Ella (the creator). He made the spirits of Rolland; some say
those
spirits are still out there but none knows. There were 5 of those spirits not co
unting the two spirits who wandered to the darkness. The names of those spirits
are
by the power they were given ; Yaul - the guardian of the Forests ; Zura - the g
uardian of the Water ; Timir - the guardian of Mountains ; Eoqir - the guardian
of
Free People ; and the last spirit that didn't wander to the Darkness was Inar the Guardian of Animals. The strongest of the spirits was the twin brothers
Ilkumar and Tilkumar. The spirits didn't have bodies of their own nor the look o
f their own, instead if they would show up in Rolland they would take the form o
f a
Men, Elf, a Dwarf, or they would take the form of the most rare race in Rolland
; the Pilkir ; They were the strongest of them all - but not by their body stren
gth
but by their intelligence ; they were the creators of the weapons ; they were th
e ones who designed every weapon there ; But lets continue with the spirits now
about the Pilkir I will tell more later. Ilkumar and Tilkumar were give big powe
rs by Ula, but they wandered to the darkness, none knows why. They created the O
rcs
; they even got Men and Elfs to fight for them by telling them lies and lies and
fell for it. Now the strongest Orcs were the Uruk-Hai who had the armor and the
strength more than any other evil creature. They were giants about 6 meters long
. They destroyed everything in their way, there were not many of them but none
was brave enough to count the numbers. The Uruk-Hai attacked the other Orcs ; th
ey didnt care they would just hit everything in their way. Now Ula when he creat
ed
the spirits he gave them tasks to create new races for the world of Rolland. The
creator of Ents and the Elfs was Yaul ; while the creator of everything that wa
s
in the waters was Zura, while Timir created the Dwarfs and although Eoqir was th
e one who had the least amount of power he did create the Pilkir. Ilkumar and
Tilkumar created the Orcs, Dragons, Imps, and everything that was evil. But the
strongest creature that was evil were the Golums, but they dont exist anymore
as the biggest soldier of all times in Rolland, Maulen killed them ; there were
not many of them ; it is said the he killed 10 of them.
Chapter 2 - The races of Rolland explained
There were many races in Rolland ; Now let me introduce you every one of them.
The Men. The Men had the strangest gifts they got, they lived the shortest lives
and were not the strongest but the Men were given the courage that none else
was given. They did not need strength because they had the courage to do anythin
g for example Maulen was not the strongest but his courage to save Rolland
was the biggest courage ever seen. Men had two kingdoms given to them by the Ell
a the creator. The biggest kingdom was Tulmas but the other kingdom, Zulukas was
not
weak at all. The Men were the biggest warriors, they had the biggest armies.
The Elves. The Elves had long lives they could live up to ten thousand years; bu
t not forever. The magic of the Elves was a known thing through the whole Rollan
d
the Elves had their own language and some Elves knew the ancient languages of th
e Elves even the ancient languages of the Men and the Dwarfs.
They had long hair ; female and male both. The male Elves were the warriors alth

ough it is said that in the past there were big soldiers among the female Elves.
When somebody damages their the Elves could heal it with their Elven magic. The
Elves did not go to war often. They intend to protect their own lands and not ca
re
about others. The Elves had three big kingdoms ; Lurian the strongest one and th
e king was Ulkas. Ulkas is one of the most powerful Elves ever. He has lived sin
ce the
beginning of the days. He is currently eleven thousand years old. Murwood is the
name for the wood-elves. Their leader was Toldas. They live in the woods of the
Murwood forest. The last but not least is Olykas the kingdom ruled by Zaulkar.
The Dwarfs. They are one of the most mysterious races. They were really short an
d had beards ; even the females. The Dwarfs fought with an axe. They were too sh
ort
for a horse even a pony. They are incredibly fast on shorter distances but not o
n longer distances. They often live in mountains. They love gold, silver, mithri
l.
The Dwarfs currently have one kingdom left. Through they had four kingdoms, but
they were too greedy and dug too deep so the Orcs fought there and won their
kingdoms. The only Dwarven kingdom left is Utumno ; lead by Filkin.
The Wizards. The Wizards were created by Ella himself ; he created them with one
task. To defend the world of Rolland. There were three wizards.
Rauzak the White Wizard. Ilkanak the Grey Wizard and Tunak the Brown Wizard. The
Wizards were like semi-gods. Their magic was incredibly strong ; to defeat them
you have to use magic ; but none knows the magic they use. But Ilkanak the Grey
wandered to the forests and none knows where he is. Wizards had long lives.
That is forever; of course until somebody kills them but only by magic they can
be killed. Only Tunak did do what was told by Ella to the wizards; while Rauzak
wandered to the darkness in the very beginning of the days.
The Pilkir. Just like I said they were the most intelligent; the most wise ones.
There was 8 Pilkir ever although it is said that there is one more but none
knows. Their names were Javann ; Kuluann ; Oklqann ; Yuilann ; Milkann ; Rulann
; Kijlann ; Quann. Now the Pilkir lived thousand of years but none knows how muc
h
exactly because none knows if there is any left now. The legends say that the on
e that was the most powerful was Rulann the one who created the strongest weapon
s.
He was killed by Maulen because he created the dark weapons for the evil forces.
Pilkir were the height of men and they looked like one; There was no difference
between Men and Pilkir.
Chapter 3 - Golums
Legends say Golums got killed by Maulen and the soldiers from the kingdom of Tul
mas.There were ten Golums ; in the books it says he killed ten of them; as far
as Rolland knows there were ten of them; but the free people of Rolland say how
there is a proof that there is a another one. None knows if it is true or not.
In the book writen by Poquir ; one of the Elves; he says that he was there when
in the battle well actually just before the battle the strongest Golum
managed to escape. But none but the Elves trust his writings. The war against Go
lums took period in year 303; Golums were killing free people of Rolland until
Maulen said "There wont be no more dead children in Rolland because of evil Golu
ms. I shall my self kill every Golum out there and I wont fail that mission. "
The war took place in Kurkas the land where the biggest evil lies. Mualen and hi
s Men traveled days and days and then they came to the town where the Golums wer
e
Hurkas was the name. Maulen and ten thousand men fought in the war against Golum
s and Orcs. Blood spilled all over. Shields breaking; every soldier with fear
on his face ; sweat coming down the faces of the soldiers more than ever. Ten th
ousand soldiers focused on the Orcs while Maulen went and focused on the Golums.

The battle between the Men and the Orcs was called the biggest battle ever that
took place in Rolland. Ten thousand Orcs against ten thousand Men.
The Men, scared fired the arrows first which angered the Orcs who after the kill
ing one of their own marched; the horns of Kurkas where heard by the whole
Rolland; before the battle the big storm started - just like before every bigger
fight it should. The Orcs had been stronger and it seemed that the Orcs
would win it; but just then Maulen defeated one of the Golums the courage of Men
arouse like never before and so the Men marched blowing their horns;
The Horses literally going over the Orcs killing them; they started running and
eventually escaped every one of them. And so five thousand Men and Maulen contin
ued
to fight the Golums; at the end there were only a thousand Men left but all one
of them were hurt including Maulen; He knew that there was no turning back home
so he sent a scout who has not been battling to inform the people of Rolland tha
t the Golums are dead. And so it was; but the body of Maulen never came back
because although they looked for it they never found because the Orcs managed to
get the body before them. And so the biggest hero in the history of Rolland;
Maulen never got a graveyard.
Chapter 4 - Marek
Much was told in the introduction; but now let is focus on Marek; Marek was a dw
arf and he was living in Utumno; He is just a regular citizen there but he
would become so much more...
"Wake up wake up Marek!!" said Muala, the mother of Marek. "It is eleven o clock
already wake up!". But Marek could not wake up as he worked late; then his moth
er
entered his room and started hitting him "You will be late for work!!"; he jumpe
d out of the bed, got his beard all cool and fancy, got some clothes and he is o
ff to work.
He worked as a blacksmith; not really the best one. Marek was one Dwarf who was
actually shorter than all. He had brown hair and a long long brown beard. He lov
ed
his beard a lot. His skill in fighting was not really anything special, he only
fought against training dolls in his childhood. Marek is 30 years old now.
He was born on second october in the year 1370. He was a person who was not like
the other Dwarfs; he does not like to fight, he is usually alone and does not
like others too much; he likes sleeping long; he was not stubborn like a Dwarf w
ould be; he loved to drink and eat; to spend time alone thinking... and just
thinking. Marek was the son of Rauzek, who was one of the bigger soldiers in the
history of the Dwarfs, but Marek was not like that; Rauzek died when Marek
was just two years old so he does not remember his father; Rauzek was killed whi
le fighting against one thousand Orcs all himself; He did beat all of them,
but the leader of the Orcs, all Orcs, the strongest one, Asug; killed him. "You
are late!" said Marek's boss, Yuya; "Just like always, can't you atleast once
come to work in time!?". Marek said "But Boss I worked late night.... I have to
sleep." . "Excuses, Excuses always having Excuses! Now work! You idiot!".
Marek hated his boss; he hated his job; he hated the fact that he was a coward;
he always felt lonely because he never had a father. He would do anything to hav
e
his father back but that is impossible. It was dawn and Marek was just finishing
working when a mysterious Man approached him "Are you Marek, son of Rauzek?"
asked the mysterious man; the Man looked big and scary to Marek who never has se
en a Man. Fear was coming to him as he answered "Who-o aare y-ou?"
"I'm one of the Pilkir, the one none knows, my name is Kalann". Marek knew about
Pilkir because he loved to read books and he knew that there are no more of the
m.
"The Pilkir do not exist anymore!". But Kalann said "You probably read the books
, you know that there was one none knows, the one that was hiding, the one who
hated himself. I do not like what I was. I do not like to talk about it.". Marek

answered "What did you need?". "I need you Marek, son of Rauzek to help me
save the world of Rolland. I have seen with my own eyes that one Golum is still
alive and therefore I need the best and the strongest ones to fight with me,
one Man, one Elf, and one Dwarf.". "Then what are you doing here, talking to me?
My father was a big soldier but I am a coward. I never fought. I hate fighting.
Go somewhere else and find somebody else.". But Kalann answered "I knew your fat
her!", Marek answered "R-really?"."Yes I knew Rauzek. He was a great Dwarf.
He told me about you and was so proud, and after our talk in the battle he died.
I found that out long time after. He was a good Dwarf, his heart was clean,
he was a brave Dwarf, stubborn not like the others. I have a gift to see if some
body is good or not and he was definitely one of the best ones. I can see
that in you, too. You, Marek, son of Rauzek are a Dwarf who's destiny is to beco
me a hero, somebody who's in the books, the tales Dwarfs in the future will tell
to their children!". Marek did not believe it so he answered "Sorry. I must go n
ow home."
