Karakteristik dan kenyamanan kendaraan erat hubungannya dengan getaran
kendaraan akihat pengaruh mesin dan eksitasi permukaan jalan yang dilaluinya.
Karena profil jalan yang hermacam-macam akan mempengaruhi frekuensi
getaran pada mobil. Mohil juga mempunyai frekuensi natural sesuai dengan
spesifikasinya. Kedua frekuensi ini akan mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan pada
mohil. Dalam hal ini per/u diketahui frekuensi natural dan respon gaya akibat
gangguan profil jalan. Untuk mengetahui frekuensi natural dan respon getaran
dilakukan simulasi perhitungan dengan menggunakan Mathcad 2000. Sebagai
obyek analisa untuk penelitian Tugas Akhir ini adalah data spesifikasi mobil
Timor S515i dengan momen inersia dari mobil Toyota Corola Twincam 16 valve.
Dari hasil simisulasi perhitungan diketahui frekuensi natural mobil pada masingmasing
derajat hebas. Pada kecepatan 30 m/sec dan dengan panjang gelombang
20 mfrekuensi getaran mobil sebesar 1.5 Hz. Dan diperoleh responpaling bagus
pada pmberian harga konstanta redaman suspensi sebesar 0.2% harga konstanta
pegas suspensi.

The Vehicle's Characteristics and Comfortability has a relation with the vehicle's
vibration because of engine work and road's surface exitation force. The road's
profile that various will affecting frequency ofcar vibration. Beside that car also
have a specific natural frequency. Thus both offrequency will affecting level of
car comfortability. In this there is need to know about case the natural frequency
andforce response that coused by road's profile trouble. To determine the natural
frequency and response, a simulation had been done with Mathcad 2000 as the
object ofthis analysis for this final project is specification of Timor S515i with
momen inertia ofToyota Corola Twincam 16 valve. From the result ofsimulation
has known the natural frequency ofthe car at each degree offreedom At 30 m/sec
speed and 20 m wave long the vibration frequency ofthe car is 1.5 Hz. And the
best response the value of suspension damping constant is 0.2% of suspension
spring constant.
