Dear Sir/Madam,

With this letter, I would like to apply for the Master degree program Tuition Grant in
Yangzhuo University in China, which will start October 1st 2014.
I studied Animation, from 2009 to 2014, at Bina Nusantara University in Indonesia,
where I graduated as Bachelor of Art. In 2012 I attended summer course at Inha University in
South Korea. Those 3 weeks changed my life. It became clear to me that travelling really is my
passion, because I can learn something new.I learned so much in just 3 weeks, much more then I
imagined possible in such a short time. After the program I worked as an intern at VineVista in
Indonesia. This helped me to enhance my theoretical knowledge with practical experiences. I
work in the field of architecture, I have made a lot of design which made it an extra special
experience having worked on it.
I have a huge interest and passion in foreign languages, cultures and its people. It has
grown since I was a little boy when I had the opportunity to travel to several places abroad with
my family for vacation or holiday. My curiosity with the local cultures and languages of the
local people also arise as we met them in the street or stopped by in a recreational place or tourist
sites, for example. And so I had a dream that one day in the future I would get to know with
them, learn their language, observe their customs and traditions, and things alike. I thought it
would not just be an exciting experience but also something that would broaden my mindset and
understanding towards different characters, various types of people. And it will always be a
lifelong learning as what I have always discovered until now.
During my travels I started thinking to learn about business. I came to the subtle
realization that I do not know or understand nearly as much as I would like to or have envisioned
myself knowing. There is much more I need to learn to realize my dream. I want to be the best I
can be as a man, I feel the need to prove myself even more since the majority of great directors
consist of men. But when people ask me why I choose such a difficult line of work to get into,
my answer is :
I choose business, because I believe I can excel in it.
I want to go to Yangzhuo University because I am interested in exploring the world,
looking for opportunities. The knowledge, skills and experiences that I benefit from the program
will contribute greatly to my future career. A terrific benefit of this course is not only to boost
chance of my future international career but also I will have opportunities to meet people from
various nations and cultures, offering me different points of view and contributing to my
flexibility and creativity, besides the cultural and language gains. I believe that life is not just
about sitting and planning rather it is more importantly, about going out and implementing.

I want to learn more about Chinese culture and languages so I choose this path to
Yangzhuo university as a great opportunity to impove my skills in many parts. This could be part
of my way to be success in business field. As we know, China has the world's fastest-growing
economy and is undergoing what has been described as a second industrial revolution. Nowadays
China is one of the world's top exporters and is attracting record amounts of foreign investment.
In turn, it is investing billions of dollars abroad. Thats why I think Yangzhuo university could
provide me the best knowledge in business and economic field so I can archieve a brighter future
ahead.
So with these reasons above Im giving a try for myself to be part of the Master degree
Tuition Grant Scholarship Program in Yangzhuo University. Not only I will practice my skills in
Mandarin language, but also I will have the opportunity to learn many things in a more
professional way, in an international atmosphere. Things like how to interact with different kinds
of people in many situational contexts, how to communicate with ease with them, how to
eliminate prejudices because of cultural barriers, also how to build a long-term relationship for
professional purpose and for international, borderless friendship too. I think its also a good thing
if you have something in which you are skillful, and you share it with other people to enrich
what you already have in yourself. So thats what I have in my mind on why I want to participate
in this program. Im sure by participating in Yangzhuo universitys Master degree tuition grant
scholarship program I will earn more knowledge and valuable experience, and at the same time
share it with other people for a better future of us all.
I hope that I will be accepted as an applicant and a beneficiary of Master degree program
Tuition Grant for the Yangzhuo University in China. I am confident that I am qualified and will
get everything out of my time at Yangzhuo university. I would be very grateful if you could give
