RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE

FOR OPERATOR 5 Days

RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE FOR OPERATOR

Objective
To introduce participants to the philosophies and concepts of Reliability
Centred Maintenance and enable them to make informed decisions about
its introduction to the site program.
Benefits
1. Staff better able to understand and support activities in regard to
RCM.
2. Understanding of RCM philosophy and what is required to support
the implementation of a program on site.
Who Should Attend?
Production and Maintenance Managers, Supervisors, Operators and
Tradespersons who want to maximise their plants mechanical availability
and increase the companies profitability.
Course Outline
Introduction to theoretical and practical aspects of Reliability Centred
Maintenance
including
determining
organisational
readiness,
understanding the prerequisites, understanding the RCM process to
provide support to your site as well as historical perspective of
maintenance requirements.
Course Objectives and Benefits
This course is intended to provide an overview of the benefits and
expectations resulting from RCM analyses and programs. In addition, this
course will familiarize participants with the RCM analysis process and the
techniques used for prioritizing potential equipment failures so that
effective failure management strategies (i.e., maintenance plans for
proactive and reactive maintenance or one-off changes) can be developed
to control the risk of losses including productivity, safety, quality, generic
time delays and costs.
Course Highlights

1. RCM Principles and Applications

This course provides an overview of the fundamental Reliability Centered
Maintenance (RCM) practice for operator, with an emphasis how operator
could contribute in reliability improvement program as an operator driven
reliability. Help operator understand what is reliability and what should
they do to participate to build operational excellence that improve safe
and reliable operation
This training presents concepts and software tools that you could use to
help operator:

To understand what is safe and reliable operation

Ability to predicting reliability of equipments, system in platform

Practically perform RCM analysis to the critical system at platform

Build a team and discussion with maintenance personal to improve

reliability operation

Understand task list of preventive maintenance optimization and it

is appropriate and determine optimum maintenance intervals.

Improve capability operator to become Operator Driven Reliability

2. Course Outline
The training course begins with an introduction to Reliability Centered
Maintenance (RCM) and an overview of the philosophy. Topics include:
