Course Synopsis The course aims at developing necessary and critical skills for students to
effectively use and produce multimedia elements and products. The class
begins with the overview of the multimedia concepts and elements. The
course will cover the recent technology of the multimedia software, tools
and hardware. For this purpose, students will be exposed by using the
necessary hardware, tools and software to be used in developing
multimedia products and projects.

Course The student is expected to learn and apply the concepts of multimedia
Objectives (i.e. multimedia elements, development of a multimedia system and
processes involved)

Learning Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:


Outcomes
1. identify and differentiate the attributes and characteristics of 5
multimedia elements (graphics, text, audio, video and animation).
2. implement proper methodology in multimedia production.
3. design and create multimedia elements using authoring software.

4. apply multimedia development skill in a real world context.
5. demonstrate teamwork through group project.
