Pressure boosting system supplied as complete,
preassembled and factory tested
The system consists of:
A: 2 vertical multistage centrifugal
pumps, type CR45-4 fitted with MG motor.
Pump bases and heads are of cast iron, other
vital parts are made of stainless steel.
B: Suction and discharge manifolds of galvanized steel.
On request the two manifolds are available in
stainless steel,DIN W.Nr 1.4301.
C: One non-return valve (CAST IRON) and two isolating
valves for each pump.
D: Pressure switches, one for each pump.
E: Base frame of galvanized steel.
F: Control CS 1000 in a steel cabinet, IP54, including
main switch, motor protectors and auxiliary circuits.
G: Pressure gauge
Dry-running protection and diaphragm tank are
available according to the list of accessories.
Pump operation is controlled by CS 1000
with the following functions:
- Automatic on/off cascade control type via pressure switches
- Automatic pump changeover at any start-up cycle
- Possibility of Start-up delay (to prevent simultaneous
start-up of the pumps)
- Possibility of Stop delay (to prevent simultaneous
stop of the pumps)
- Possibility of After run delay (to keep pumps in operation
after switch off comand)
- Possibility of remote control:
* potential-free changeover contact for fault indication
- Front cover pump operation mode
* AUTO
* STOP
* TEST (manual on/off)
- Front cover indication functions:

Pumps and piping are mounted on the base frame while the
Control 1000 is supplied for installation beside the booster set.
The booster is factory pre-adjusted and tested.
The cable length included in the standard scope of supply
allows the control cabinet to be placed max. 5.0 m from the booster set.
