83% of the respondents were of the opinion that training is essential for
development. Hence we can conclude that the employees of T%OD have a
positive attitude towards training.

This question was used to analyze the general skills shortcomings that the employees feel they need
to overcome. The most popular areas where skill development training is needed are Leadership skills
and Presentation skills, followed by computer skills.

The above pie-chart shows the overall leadership training need analysis of
T&OD. This was done using 5 traits essential for leadership. These were Goal
inclination and focus, time management, interpersonal skills, challenge and risktaking ability and conflict management.
40% of the employees in the T&OD department require training related to challenge
and risk taking which will prepare them for leadership positions. These two traits are
followed by goal inclination and interpersonal skills.

Majority (56%) of the employees of T&OD are somewhat satisfied with the previous
training provided to them in their current position. Only a small portion (11%) was
dissatisfied. What we can conclude from this is that the methodology and training
programs selected in the past are generally popular and can be used in future as
well. However as for the small portion of dissatisfied employees, suggestions have
been sought as to how we can improve the training process.

Few employees suggested that more efficient methods of training should be used.

The individual employee analysis will help us identify individual needs which we can
then align with the organizational needs to develop leadership for the organization.
