Peer Assessments

Help

Our course includes two peer assessed essays -- in a nutshell you get to write an essay, have it
assessed by other Philosophy and the Sciences students, whilst assessing other essays yourself. We
think this is a great way to explore the issuse raised in this course in more depth, to gain feedback on
your own thinking and to contribute in a very practical way to the massive community of learners of which
you're a part. Peer assessments contribute towards your final grade. Have a look at the course
logistics for details.
Even if you've joined the course too late to submit the first essay, you can still submit an essay on the
second part of the course and you'll still be eligible to complete track two.
The essays can be up to 750 words long and will be marked by other participants in the course. To
receive essay feedback you will need to provide feedback on three other essays. Reading other people's
essays and providing feedback is also a great way to cultivate your reflective philosophical thinking.
