How we work with

recognised centres

Study options
We aim to give students as much
choice as possible about how,
when and where they study.
Some of our students prefer the flexibility of
being able to study independently at their
own pace. Others prefer face-to-face teaching
and classroom support at one of about 70
independent teaching institutions worldwide.
Whichever study option they choose,
students are sent relevant study materials and
have access to a range of online resources.

A network of about 70 independent

teaching institutions worldwide
are formally recognised by
the University of London.
Known as recognised centres, these
organisations provide tuition to students who
choose to access additional tutor support.
There are two categories of recognised
centres: Affiliate and Registered. Affiliate
is the highest status. We monitor the
quality of our recognised centres through
a number of mechanisms including annual
monitoring and regular periodic review visits
by University of London academic staff.
Affiliate Centres have demonstrated a
sustained commitment to maintaining
high standards of teaching, support
and administration for our students.
