While most of these references focus on art and media as spaces of


dissemination in research and research training, it is important to note that
many of the strategies, methodologies and processes can be adopted and
adapted from the creative arts and reconfigured into the broader
humanities and other discipline areas.

For a standard reader, the Practice as Research text by Estelle Barrett and
Barbara Bolt is recommended. It is up to date, and covers a lot of the
important ground of understanding the articulation of the creative process
