Course Diet
Every week consists of 24 blocks or periods.
For the majority of you, your week will be divided as follows:

8 blocks Math/Science
8 blocks English/Social Studies
2 blocks Physical Education
2 blocks Modern Language
2 blocks Compulsory Exploratory (Drama and Art)
2 blocks Elective

Focuses on team building activities, service
learning and other fun activities to help you
make friends and get actively involved
Explores topics relevant to being in Middle
School e.g. having positive relationships,
solving problems, asking for help

Course Description - Team Sports


Team Sports
Is aimed at those who wish to further their abilities in a wide variety of team sports
By playing fun and competitive games against opponents.
Students will explore advanced skills and tactics. Through teamwork,
communication and cooperation
Students will make collaborative efforts to devise and incorporate existing skills,
tactics and strategies to gain an advantage over and to pressure opponents.
This will be a very active course that will promote high levels of activity and fitness
with an aim to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong participation in sports
and/or exercise.
