Power ATC300 controller and connect computer with the Ethernet cable
supplied.
Install Andrew IP Config tool if you dont have it already. You will need
Admin rights on your computer for this tool to work.
Launch Andrew IP Config tool. This application serves two proposes:
a It provides easy control of the local PC IP address to connect to the
ATC300-1000/2000 controller.
b It acts as the FTP server to allow uploading of software to AISG
devices connected to the ATC300-1000.
Click on the New IP Info tab and apply the new IP address to the local PC
(factory default IP address of controller is 192.168.255.141, so change PC
to 192.168.255.140).

Click on the FTP server tab and add the .ascu file for transfer to the
ATC300-1000. (by clicking the Add File(s) button and browsing for the
.ascu file.

Upload the .ascu file to the ATC300-1000. Make sure you select ATC300
from the dialog box.

The browser should open showing the upload of the file in progress:If this is taking a long time and/or fails, you may need to add port 21 into you
windows/virus scanner firewall setting. Alternatively, temporarily disable any
firewalls on your computer for this process.

Once complete, reboot the ATC300 controller.

Connect the ATC300 to the Kathrein RETs (RCUs) either directly using the
AISG DIN cable (If on the ground pre rigging) or via the Bias Tees / MHAs
and antenna system.

Note: When installing Kathrein RETs (RCUs) in the antenna, not the
serial numbers of each and which port it is installed into for latter
reference when configuring and calibrating.

Open IE browser and connect directly to the ATC300-1000 using its IP


address.

10 Select Find Devices button and scan for AISG components. Remember to
limit the number of expected devices to less than 32 if you want to speed
up the scanning process. But make sure this number is equal or greater
than the number of devices on the bus.

11 Once scanning is complete, the Kathrein actuator will be found and


reported in the Home screen but the status will show an alarm as the RCU
is Not Configured.

12 The Antenna Model drop down box will now have the Kathrein antenna part
number available for selection. Select the correct antenna model and Port
for that RCU. (using serial number noted down when RCUs were installed in
the antenna)

13 Select the Calibrate tick box. Click Set Device Data button. Kathrein RET
(RCU) must be installed in the antenna to calibrate.

14 Repeat step 12 onwards for each Kathrein RET (RCU) on the bus.

15 Once all calibrated, the Kathrein RETs (RCUs) can be controlled and
operated in the same manner as all the others. Such as changing electrical
tilt settings.
