In most simple language steel detailing is the process of developing detailed structural steel
drawings that are meant to be used by fabricators and steel erectors. Very effective methodology
and techniques are applied in the detailing process wherein detailed plans, estimates, drawings
and other important reports are documented and created that are used in the manufacturing of
steel parts and in the construction process.
That means wherever steel is used in construction and manufacturing steel detailing services are
necessary. Apart from building construction steel detailing services are required for the
construction of various other structures.
The drawings generated during steel detailing process includes the information about a variety
of steel members such as columns, braces, truces, joists and hand rails etc. Structural steel
