ANALYSIS

In general, analysis is a process of breaking a complex topic or substance into

smaller parts to gain better understanding of it. According to Ritchey T (1996), analysis
can be defined as the procedure by which we break down an intellectual or substantial
while into parts or components.
Based on the result of statistical tests which had been converted to descriptive
statistics, 2 main findings emerged. First, the survey examined the needs of cooperative
store in KHAR College. The result confirmed that most of the respondents which are
about 73% respondent support the establishment of cooperative store in KHAR College.
Second, the survey also examined the need of establishing ATM services in KHAR
College. The result shows that 100% respondents which are KHAR Colleges residents
stated that they will support the establishment of ATM services in KHAR College.
The result from the survey shows that 75% of the respondents stated that the
establishment of cooperative store is very important for them. This can be proof by which
63% of the residents in KHAR College faced difficulties if there is no cooperative store
in KHAR College. Besides that, 18% of the residents in KHAR College thought that it is
important to establish cooperative store in KHAR College so that they can easily purchasing
variety kinds of daily necessities such as stationery and snack food. However, about 54% of

the residents in KHAR College agreed that the important to establish cooperative store in
KHAR College is because its provide convenient and comfort to them such as purchase
daily necessities at reasonable price, ease of access, time saving and ease of purchasing variety
kinds of products. Moreover, researchers found that the establishment of cooperative store

in KHAR College will encouraged about 55% of the residents in KHAR College to shop
at cooperative store frequently and about 43% of the residents in KHAR College
probably will go to the cooperative store once a month.
Next, the result from the survey also reveals that 100% residents of KHAR
College agreed it is important to establish ATM services in KHAR College. About 63%
of the respondents stated that the important to establish ATM services is because it

facilitate convenient for them because they can make a withdraw transactions anytime,
quick fund transfer, recharge mobile phone, save time without entering the bank hall to
queue. Most of the residents have used their ATM card since before entering Sultan Idris
University of Education (UPSI) as a student which is about 85%. Moreover, 100% of the
respondents stated that they encounter difficulties if there are no ATM services in KHAR
College. This can be proof where 52% of the respondents confessed that they have access
to any ATM services more than two times per week. The frequent access to ATM which is
more than two times in a week shows that they will encounter difficulties without ATM
services. Most of the respondents which are about 52% use the ATM services to withdraw
cash. 32% of the respondents use the ATM services to transfer cash, recharge phone and
as well as withdraw cash. Furthermore, the survey asked respondents their support in
establishing ATM services in KHAR College. A frequency analysis revealed that all of
the respondents agreed to support the establishment of ATM services in KHAR College
which 91% of them will use it all the time.

CONCLUSION
In a nutshell, the study has provided significant and empirical insights into the
needs of cooperative store and ATM services in KHAR College. The study has
demonstrated that most of the residents in KHAR College stated that the establishment of
cooperative store and ATM services in KHAR College is very important. Furthermore, it
is important to note that most of the residents in KHAR College support the provision of
cooperative store and ATM services to facilitate their life. Moreover, the residents in
KHAR College who are mostly undergraduate students need cooperative store to buy
some of their daily necessities. They also need ATM services in order to do transaction
especially withdraw cash from the ATM.

10.0

RECOMMENDATIONS
The establishment of cooperative store and provision of ATM services in KHAR College

will facilitate the residents of KHAR College. Since most of the respondents stated that they
encountered many difficulties without cooperative store and ATM services, this research
recommends that the top management of KHAR College should establish cooperative store and
the authorized bank especially Islamic Bank should establish ATM services in KHAR College.
