0. Introduction & Promising Effects

''Humidity control'' is the essential requirement for static or moisture issues and stable operation in textile industries.
Because moderate humidity provides ideal environment so that static electricity hardly generate and moisuture without wetting.
Ikeuchi's AirAKI Dry Fog Humidification System will provide uniform stable humidity.
Ikeuchi would like to offer the following proposal for your benefits of productivity, quality.
1. Conditions
3
Approx. Volume [m ]
Measurement [m]
Target Temp. & Humidity
Worst Temp & Humidity
Supply Air [m3/hr]
Worst Outside Air Conditions
Absolude humidity [kg/kg (DA)]
Outside Air Induction [m3/hr] *
Ventilation rate [times/hr] *
* We assumed these numbers.

2. Humidity Calculation
Our humidity calculation resulted 178 nozzles at least would be required to get the target humidity
considering the above air conditions.
Target Humidity
70% RH at 22deg C
Desired Humidity [LPH]

Absolude humidity [kg/kg (DA)]
Desired Humidity [GPH]

if 5,934LPM at 0.5MPa air can be
supplied.

3. Humidification System Layout and Utility
We would like to propose our humidification system using 140 nozzles considering layout balance.
<Required utility> Please check the utility below and the attached system layout.

Required quality specifications for the air and water supply
Pressure:
0.3 - 0.35 MPa (44-51PSI) at a point of use
Temperature: 5 deg C (41 deg F) - Normal temperature
Quality:
Air without moisture, oil mist and dust; Dew point 10 deg C (= 50 degF)
Purifying Devices: Air Dryer, Air Filter, Oil Filter
* Air Filter - Remove foreign particles of over 5 micro meter.
Air
Oil Filter - Remove foreign particles of over 0.03 micro meter.
Air Heater: Place an air heater when the humidifier is operated in low ambient temperature or
when the compressed air temperature becomes lower than 12 degC (=54 degF)
* Apply thermal insulator to air pipe after the point of an air heater.

Water

Pressure:
0.1 - 0.15 MPa (15 - 22PSI) at a point of use
Temperature: Normal temperature
Quality:
No particles
Electric Conductivity
= 0.07 - 10 microsiemens/cm
(Resistance
14 - 0.1 M ohm/cm )
Silica ( SiO2)
= 5ppm or less
Total Hardness + Bicarbonate = 60 ppm or less
Purifying Devices: Y Strainer(0.1mm), Water Filiter (5 micrometer), Water softner
Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier, Ion Exchange Water Purifier
* Water Softener and Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier produce continuous
discharged water during their operation. Provide drainage basin.
