After

a
mile
you
go
over
'La
Sarre',
then
gradually
uphill.
As
road
levels
off,
there
is
a
road
on
left
signed
Kervihan,
opposite
a
cottage.
(There
is
a
cream
house
on
right
hand
side
as
you
turn
in).
Go
along
here
for
about
100
yards,
when
road
splits
into
3.
The
centre
one
is
the
drive
into
our
property,
through
black
gates.
From
Baud:
Kervihan
is
just
over
8
miles
north
of
Baud,
on
the
D142,
signposted
to
Melrand.
As
you
go
through
village
of
St.
Barthelemy,
watch
out
for
crossroads
by
church,
where
no-one
-
or
everyone!
-
has
priority.
After
a
few
miles
cross
over
level
crossing
and
River
Blavet,
through
Lann
Georges
and
Lann
Forno.
Then
2
right
hand
bends,
the
second
of
which
has
a
dead
tree
and
a
sign
advertising
M.Nichol
Travaux
Publics.
Road
inclines,
and
at
the
top
there
is
a

to
Kervihan
on
right.
This

a

to
a
solitary
house.

Bookings
are
from
Saturday.The
house
will
be
available
from
4pm
on
the
day
of
arrival,
and
we
ask
for
it
to
be
vacated
by
10am
on
the
morning
of
departure.
All
bedding
and
towels
are
provided.
French
Plumbing
As
the
house
has
a
septic
tank,
we
have
to
be
very
careful
what
goes
into
it!
We
will
supply
all
toilet
rolls,
and
we
ask
for
all
tissues,
wipes
etc.,
to
be
put
in
bins,
not
down
the
loo.
This
is
very
important
for
all
of
us,
as
a
blockage
and
its
consequences
would
be
expensive
and
smelly.
We
will
also
supply
all
cleaning
materials.
Amenities
-
You
may
want
to
bring
teabags.
French
tea
is
very
weak
and
expensive.
Bacon
is
not
readily
available.
Otherwise
the
shops
are
very
good.
Nearest
supermarket
is
is
Bubry,
5
miles
away.
Melrand
has
a
general
store,
bakery,
pharmacy,
post
office,
several
bars,
a
creperie
and
an
excellent
restaurant.
A
takeaway
pizza
bar
opened
recently.
PLEASE
NOTE
-
bakery
and
general
store
are
closed
on
Mondays.
And
most
shops
do
not
open
on
Sundays.
Pets
Please
note
we
do
not
accept
pets.
We
ask
guests
to
please
refrain
from
smoking
in
the
house.
PLEASE
NOTE:
We
are
hoping
to
have
a
more
permanent
pool
fitted
for
this
summer
