    In June 2012, the Newton Public Schools announced that it had withdrawn the Saudi-funded and oft-criticized text "The Arab World Studies Notebook" from Newton schools. Apparently no one told teachers that, however, as the AWSN continued to be used the next year and possibly longer, as shown by this lesson plan distributed to students.
