PUBLIC HEARING
October 08, 2013
Rockville Community Center
The Rockville Planning Commission will hold a PUBLIC HEARING as part of their regular meeting on
Tuesday, the 8th day of October, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rockville Community Center, 43 E. Main,
Rockville, Utah.
When you are recognized to be heard during any Town of Rockville public meeting, please come to the
podium to speak to enable an accurate recording of your remarks.

The agenda will be as follows:


1. Call to order roll call.
2. Declaration of conflict of interest with an agenda item.
3. Public Hearing for the following proposed amendments to the Land Use Code:
a. Amend Chapter 2 Definitions for additions, deletions and revisions.
b. Amend Chapter 5 Home Occupations Section 5.5, Conditions, and general language
housekeeping.
c. Amend Chapter 7 Supplementary and Qualifying Regulations add 7.6, Geological
Hazards; Protection and Mitigation Measures; 7.11, Yard Coverage of Accessory
Buildings; 7.12, Administrative Lot Line Adjustment Application Process; and 7.21,
Improvement Requirements and Standards for Streets and Public Services; and general
language housekeeping.
d. Amend Chapter 8 Signs 8.10, Special Provisions, elimination of business reference,
and general language housekeeping.
e. Amend Chapter 12 Subdivision review of entire chapter for compliance with Utah
Code, address hazards, protection of existing resources and assets, clarify cliff edge,
ridgeline, ridgeline area, water course, viewsheds, street layout; and general language
housekeeping.
f. Amend Chapter 16 Grading/Excavation 16.4, Grading/Excavation Limits relative to
the need for limits of disturbance fencing.
g. Amend Chapter 22 Residential-Agricultural (RA-5 Acres) 22.8, Modifying
Regulations relative to the placement of accessory buildings.
h. Amend Chapter 23 Open Space (OS-20 Acres) 23.9, Modifying Regulations relative
to the placement of accessory buildings.
i. Amend Chapter 25 Sensitive Lands Overlay relative to protection of ridgelines, cliff
edges, watercourses, wetlands, and areas susceptible to potential rock fall and landslide.
4. Recommendation to the Town Council for approval of the Land Use Code amendments as
addressed in the Public Hearing.
5. Item tabled from the September 10, 2013 meeting Consideration and action on a request for a
Lot Line Adjustment Harry Grant/Roger Fuller.
6. Consideration and action on a request for a Building Permit for a remodel at 38 E. Main Larry
McKown.
7. Review and discussion regarding grading and excavation of property near 991 W 250 South
(Grafton Road) Daniel Sanger/Sherri Dias.
8. Approval of the minutes of the September 10, 2013 regular meeting.
9. Planning Commission Administrative Business.
10. Adjourn.
