I. I NTRODUCTION
ESDE HACE MAS de 200 aos atrs se conoca el
problema de los sistemas de ecuaciones lineales y no
se lograba dar con una solucin satisfactoria. Inclusive cerca
del ao 200 A.C. los chinos habian encontrado un mtodo
muy astuto para resolver sistemas de 2 ecuaciones con 2
incgnitas. Este mtodo se encuentra explicado en: Jiuzhang
Suanshu (Nueve capitulos en el Arte de la Matemtica) en
el capitulo 7, uno de los pocos textos sobrevivientes de la
china en matemticas.[1] Sin embargo y a pesar de que ha
pasado mucho tiempo el problema sigue an abierto, y esto es
debido a que conforme van creciendo los sistemas ms difcil
es resolverlos. Ms si estos son infinitos el nmero de pasos
para resolverlos es factorialmente creciente.
