4 6 NOVEMBER 2015 | SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

CALL FOR PAPERS

INVITATION

Extended submission deadline: 23 February 2015

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am pleased to

announce the Third International Future Mining Conference
will be held at UNSW Australia from 45 November 2015
in Sydney, Australia.
Future Mining 2015 is proudly hosted by the School of Mining Engineering,
UNSW Australia and The AusIMM. The conference will focus on identifying
current and future challenges that may have an impact on the minerals industry
and determining possible pathways for a solution.
The conference will address innovations and opportunities to transfer scientific
and technological developments from other disciplines into the minerals
industry. It will also examine the human factors and skill needs for future
operations, identify possible blue sky scenarios of mining in the future,
strategies of mining education and research, novel mining systems and future
commodities and directions. Furthermore, the Second Off-Earth Mining Forum
will be held as a post-conference event on 6 November 2015.
The conference will provide a forum for communication for industry leaders as
well as industry partners including scientists, engineers, executives, investors,
government representatives, academics and other stakeholders.
Sydney and the state of New South Wales have many attractions, offering
delegates an ideal setting to make this conference enjoyable as well as
worthwhile.
I look forward to welcoming you to Sydney in November 2015.
