Computer Applications II is a one semester course that encompasses advanced competencies


to strengthen skills in solving more complex business problems through applications in word
processing, database management, spreadsheet analysis, and presentation/multimedia
production. Students utilize Microsoft Office 2007 which includes Word, Excel, Access, and
PowerPoint, to complete integrated computer activities and produce professional-looking
documents. Students also further explore, research, and communicate via the Internet.

Learning Microsoft Office 2007 Deluxe, Pearson/Prentice Hall DDC, 2008. (with CD-ROM)

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

Procedures

1. Make sure you are at your assigned seat before the bell rings.
2. Go to http://computersatpaseo.blogspot.com/ to see the Do Now Assignment
3. Complete the Do Now assignment and e-mail to the teacher.
a. E-mail a copy of the assignment to yourself
4. Give your full attention during instruction.
a. Complete the Assignments and submit (either by e-mail or by hardcopy)
5. If you get done early, complete the enrichment assignment(s)
6. Wrap Up
