Dear BSMP Students,

We are excited to report the launch of the BSMP Participant Self Service Portal. We would like you to take
the time to set up your own BSMP profile with IIE. This is a very important first step and it is required for all
incoming 2015 BSMP students.
Throughout the duration of your grant you will be asked to submit important documents to IIE by uploading
them to your portal account. Please follow the attached instructions on how to set up your profile and
upload your first document. IIE will also upload important documents required for your participation in the
program only in the portal.
Please use the following as a checklist to make sure that your account is ready to use. Please read the
attached instructions very carefully as you are setting up your account.
1) Log in to the portal: https://mycusthelp.info/IIE/_cs/Login.aspx
2) Change your password by following the attached instructions
3) Update your profile page with your Residential Address in Brazil and additional email address.
4) Access the Programs Tab and upload your Brazilian Passport by following the attached instructions. If
you have a U.S. passport, please upload that as well.
If you have any questions or if you encounter any errors during this process please contact
bswbapp@iie.org. Please keep in mind that you cannot participate in the program without having a portal
account.
Additional Notes:
All files that you upload to the Portal should be in PDF format. Please upload only what you are told to
upload. At this time, this should only be your passport.
Your field of study on your Portal Account is irrelevant and wont affect your placement.

The following information cannot be changed by students:

Primary email address
First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name
Programs:
Program, Country of Nomination, Location Country, Institution/Account, Opportunity Objective, Start Date,
End Date, Participant ID, World Region, Field of Study.
Please note that you may find some of the information above blank or may seem incorrect to you (such as
field of study). This should not alarm you as the accurate information is included on your SEVIS record.
The sole purpose of the BSMP Grantee Service Portal is so that you can submit your documents safely
and update your address information. We hope to expand its functionalities in the near future.
Documents:
Students cannot delete documents once submitted. If you submitted a document in the wrong document
category or attached the wrong file, please submit the correct file in the appropriate Document Category. If
your document was rejected by IIE, please read why it was rejected and upload the correct document in
the appropriate Document Category.
