Identifies issues associated with maintaining fitness for purpose of an asset for a specified
Life Extension period
Facilitator led assessment carried out by multi-functional team reviewing ~60 ALE
considerations against all SCE, BCE and ECEs
Prioritise issues/gaps:

Red Process/procedure gap and condition issues


Amber Condition issues only
Green No gaps/issues

Issues/gaps validated against ALE strategy of Maintain; Repair; Replace; Remove criteria
Defined scopes implemented via Asset Integrity Rectification Programme

SNS Asset Integrity Rectification Programme


Ensures Asset & Operating Integrity fitness for purpose is maintained through to the
end of field life

Programme commenced mid 2012 with scopes executed via 106POB walk-to-work
barge over ~ 60-80 day duration per asset

Key focus areas/workscopes derived from ALE/OGRE process output combined with
existing prioritised defects (100% P1 P2; X% P3)
Decommissioning / Rationalisation of redundant equipment
Construction Fabric Maintenance / Tertiary Steel Scope
Fabric Maintenance (blasting & painting)
Obsolescence
LOS Microwave System, UPS, Navaids, etc
Maintenance
Power Generation, Crane, etc

Replaced 3.75km of Unistrut
5000 litres of paint applied
