CSR is conducted in such areas and in such manners that help overall reduction of poverty and other
social activity and help preserving scarce resources for future generation.
Functions of CSR Unit of SIBL are as under:

Ingraining environmentally and socially responsible practices within the organization;

Reaching out with financial services to the less well off population segments of the community
Community investments by way of donations to initiatives of Civil Society Organizations
(CSOs), NGOs and institutions involved in health, education and culture; for social and
environmental improvement including nutrition, health and education in the disadvantaged
population segments
Financial help to different orphanages, schools, madrashas, social organizations & individuals
who are suffering from fatal diseases like cancer, kidney failure, heart diseases etc.
Adoption of socially and environmentally responsible practices in internal operations.
By financing on different Agriculture, SME, Women Entrepreneur, Renewable Energy Finance, Solar

Speeding up financial inclusion of the large socially disadvantaged rural and urban population
segments with appropriate financial service packages and with financing programs innovatively
designed to generate new employment, output and income.
