New Polling Places for 25 Chicago Precincts

Most Chicago voters will be using the same polling places on Tuesday as they used
in February, but 25 of the citys 2,069 precinct polling places had to be re-located
for the Tues., April 7 Supplementary (Run-Off) elections.
We aim to keep the polling places at the same locations, especially between
February and April elections, said Election Board Chairman Langdon D. Neal.
However, we want voters to be aware that some building owners could not host
the polling place again, and the polling places had to be re-located for various
reasons, in 25 precincts or 1.2% of the city.
The Board has sent letters to voters in the 25 affected precincts. The Board also
will be posting signs at all of the 25 polling places that were used in February that
will not be used in April. Further, the Board is publishing legal notices of the
changes in various newspapers in the next week.
