Description: Three logo variations for the same company.
Objectives: We are surrounded by logos everywhere, A logo
should show the message of the company.
Process: I used the pen tool to create each of these
logos. I sketched each logo then traced over it
with with pen tool.

Description: A web page designed to showcase a personally
created logo.
Objectives: Learn the basics of html and css, and create a new
Process: I created this webpage by using TextWrangler. I
learned how to use html and css. I got the background image
by coping the url and placing it into my css document. On the
body background I made it have an opacity. I also made the
bullet points squares instead of circles. I created a design
so my logo would be centered but my bullet points would be
left aligned.

Description: A two sided (duplex) folding brochure.
Objectives: Learn how to work with illustrator, photoshop,
and indesign together.
Process: I created the logo in illustrator. I mainly used
the pen tool. I have a photo that I clipped in photoshop.
I used the quick selection tool to grab the the three men
in the image. I designed the layout in indesign. I created
the shapes using the square tool and the pen tool.

Process: I used Microsoft Word to design the layout, I
also used Microsoft Word to take away the backround from
the person in the image.

Description: Demonstrate good photography and image editing
skills. Incorporating color into a poster layout with
original photo.
Objectives: Take a picure showing a color scheme. Use
photshop to add elements.
Process: I used several adjustment layers, including
hue,contrast,and color. sharpened the whole images, using
image sharpening tool, and selected the barn for more
sharpening. also using the dodge tool to lighten the white
around the barn.

Description: Black and White promotional flier to
promote a graduate leadership conference.
Objectives: Learn the basics of InDesign.
Process: I made four sketches do design my flyer. When I
got to the library to design my flier I combined a few
of my sketches to make my final product. I left everything black and white so that they would contrast well
together. I also made sure I put my whole title lined up
vertically on the side. I used black bars to help give
the flyer flow.

Programs Used: Adobe Photoshop
Description: An inspirational montage made by the blending
of two or more images, and the use of typography.
Objectives: Blend two images in Photoshop.
Process: The first thing I did was take the picture of
myself and use the lasso tool to select the image of
myself. I used 100 pt. feather. I then dragged that onto
the image of the temple. I then used the brush to be able
to get rid of the hard edges. I also used a background that
would give the temple more of a texture.
