Programs(s)/Tools:
I used Illustrator to create the logo placed within the brochure. I then
used InDesign for the brochure itself while using Photoshop to edit
and design different photos.
Objectives:
Learn how to navigate with greater ease through InDesign. Discover
how to create ruler guides in order to make a brochure that can be
folded correctly while looking pleasing to the eye. Create a color
scheme for this project while incorporating pictures and a logo.
Process:
I had to have picture editing skills and the tools to do so as well as the
tools and skills to create a brochure and logo. My logo was simple, but
went well with the photography I was advertising. I also placed
pictures and information within my brochure with correct
measurements to fold correctly. I fulfilled each objective.

For theses
designs, I used Adobe Illustrator. Because I have never used this program
before,
I had to learn a new set of skills with the tools I was provided with.
Learn
how to use Adobe Illustrator with a greater capacity. Play around with
various
color schemes and decide which was pleasing to the eye with each design.
Experiment
with typography and what to use with each logo. Brainstorm three
different
designs for the logos. Learn how to create shapes and manipulate them in
Illustrator.
I learned
how to create shapes, transform them, and add text. Each design created
was different,
but simple to understand. I made sure each logo had different sets of
typography
and color schemes. They could each be used depending on the message
wanting
to be sent by the company.

My message
was meant to be inspirational as I worked to convey that
individuals
should not fear chasing their dreams. because Individuals are often
scared of failing despite a possible successful outcome.
I learned
how to take part of a picture and drag only the parts I wanted into
another
photograph. I then practiced fading different images into another to
create
a montage. I had the main photo be black and white so the montage
