What does a fashion design portfolio entail?

I am going on an interview for a fashion designer position. They are asking for me to bring a few articles of clothing
that best showcase your work as a designer as well as a portfolio. I graduated last year from fashion design school
and made gowns, jackets, etc. for school projects that I'm very proud of, but I don't make them for work now (I
started my own Tshirt line since school so there's not as much creativity there). And my only portfolio is of my
school sketches which are terrible since I was just learning to draw. I'm a much better as sketching and illustration
now but I don't have anything I've drawn recently. What should I bring to show them? Should I whip up a portfolio
of hand drawn illustrations of ideas of garments I would design? Would these illustrations be enough for the
portfolio?
