walk to end
alzheimers
The Walk to End Alzheimers is the nations largest event to raise awareness
and funds for Alzheimers care, support and research. The Walk to End
Alzheimers movement unites the entire community in a display of combined
strength and dedication. Sponsors, team captains, walk participants, and
volunteers are the leaders in the effort to defeat this devastating disease.
Walk to End Alzheimers is a multi-generational event that brings together
families dealing with Alzheimers, professionals working in both care and research
settings, corporations dedicated to supporting employees and their personal
causes, and media representatives tracking the nations largest movement to
defeat Alzheimers.
In 2014, the Fresno - Clovis Walk to End Alzheimers drew almost 1300 attendees
and raised over $209 thousand for Alzheimers care, support and research. This
year the stakes are even higher, and we need your support. By partnering with
the Alzheimers Association, your company can have a profound impact on the
movement to end Alzheimers Disease.
75% of the walkers participated because they are supporting or caring for
someone with Alzheimers or have lost someone to Alzheimers.
