CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT (PART I)

MISS ARGUELLES-PEREZ | US HISTORY | S2-01
I am hoping this will be a fun and yet resourceful project for you all.
As you already know, we have been looking at the Civil Rights Movement and you seem to have a good grasp on
the subject. For this project you will design a series of presentations that will assess your knowledge or research of any
approved subject during the civil rights movement.
You will choose your topic from any of the following categories and even follow a specific group of people within
that category:

Black Power
Gender equity issues
American Indian Movement
Chicano Movement
LGBT rights or gay liberation
Education
Voting Rights
For example Children within the Black Power Movement

Part one of the quarter project is separated into 3 parts: an introduction, a timeline, and personal reflection.
