PROJECT EXPERIENCES DURING GRADUATION

PROJECT 1: FABRICATION OF AIR ENGINE:
We, a team of 5, effectively fabricated an AIR ENGINE which is an automobile engine
driven by compressed air instead of any petroleum fuel. A motorcycle engine was modified
into our Air Engine which can be run at the same speed at sufficient air pressure. We made
the basic model of the innovative Air Engine which is supposed to be the concentration of
automobile giants in the nearby future. Our Air Engine was driven by the air from a
compressor. This one also can be driven by the compressed air stored cylinders which is
the practical way if we implement this in the automobile industry.

PROJECT 2: FABRICATION OF VAPOUR COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION

SYSTEM :
We, the same team of 5, fabricated a Vapor Compression Refrigeration System
Experimental set up

to find out the COP at various conditions. Co-efficient Of

Performance (COP) is the measure of the efficiency of the Refrigeration System, and our
experimental test rig provided and an easy way to find out the COP at different
temperatures ranging from -15 to +20 degree Celsius. Our experiment was made for the
thermal engineering lab for the practical purposes as well as to study and understand the
vapor compression refrigeration system.
