COLOMBIAN IN 2050

In Colombian there are many problems for resolved, these problems include corruption,
war, unemployment, the poor quality of health and education, low investment in sport
and technology, drugs, discrimination and social marginalization and many other
problems that prevent that our country evolves. If our leaders will seek disinterested
solutions to all the problems that has our nation, Colombia would be a leading country
socially and economically in Latin America.
By another point of view, the Private Bank HSBC, believes that Colombia would be one
of the 30 largest economies by 2050, making a big leap to other South American
countries. It is expected that in the next 40 years, the country stays above 4 percent
annually, dynamism that will help to get a quota in the select group of major economies
of the world.
It will also be one of the best performing countries since 2050 will occupy 26th place
among nearly 200 countries, which will jump 13 spots from its current location. Only
two countries have a higher advance: Egypt and Malaysia.

According to calculations by the planet's largest bank, Colombia's GDP in 40 years is

725,000 million, compared to approximately 284,000 million dollars today. The
calculations say that, at that time the country will have 63 million inhabitants and
income per capita will increase from $ 3,052 in 2010 to $ 11,530 in 2050, calculated in
year 2000 prices.

It is expected that this decade, the Colombian economy will grow 4.5 percent on
average, one of the highest in the list. Between 2020 and 2040, the increase will be
between 4.2 and 4.1 percent, and by 2050 the rate will decrease slightly for the country
to grow at a rate of 4 percent. If these estimates are accurate, the stable economy will
allow the country to invest resources in sport, technology, health and education, This
will allow recognize to the Colombian people between the leading nations in Latin
America, and why not a leading nation in the world.
Technological developments such as the Internet, mobile communications, broadband,
satellite, information systems and others are producing significant changes in the
economy, the society, the culture and the education of our country, at present some
lights it observe in the way; because it promote the use of tablets, computers and
smartphones.
According to these changes if the economy is stabilized in our country and we use our
own resources, instead of to use the internationals resources , Colombia will be one of
the countries in Latin America with greater technological potential, leading
manufacturer of all kinds of technological devices such as smart homes that help
preserve resources such as gas, electricity and water or nanobots that help to patients to
cure their illness.
The country will continue to grow if the people choose rulers that implement sound
policies and prudent in terms of public expenditure and the technical composition of the
Board of the Bank of the Republic. Despite of the acute global financial crisis, is
expected to Colombia in a couple of years can recover its growth, and in subsequent
years can to achieve very high rates.

In the year 2050 Colombia will have meters in the big cities; the roads will be more
spacious, reducing journeys from one city to another will be major and the mobility is
exceeded by 25 percent. Colombia will be one of the 10 fastest growing countries in the
airline industry for domestic operation and Latin America will have a growth of 4% in
the coming years.

In 2050 the health model for the country will be one answer for health and a
fundamental right protected by the state, so that all Colombians without distinction any
they can access easily. It should will be a model that will provides a timely attention,
efficient and humanized, without intermediaries that corrupt the health and in turn these
raise her price; it should will be a model that cares about the treatment of the disease but
that has as priority the prevention and the promotion; it also should to ensure user
satisfaction as direct providers of the services.

In Colombia one in five people will have over 60 years and by the end of this decade
will have about a one thousand million of grandfathers. For scientists as Manuel Elkin
Patarroyo in 2020 60% of cancers will be associated with infectious diseases, such as
viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi for that year, will have controlled many infectious
diseases associated to cancer. Also in 2050 the doctors will know the diseases that the
persons will have during their life. Since in the computer shown the genome of each
person the doctor will know, just by looking, the chances that the person has of getting a
particular disease.

To reach the Colombia of 2050 in a more organized manner, with green logistics and
service, it requires commitment and integration. I think the prospect of future can
develop if we learn to decrease the pollutant emissions, and if we use more human
capital, we generate educational opportunities for to make more conscious use of its
resources.
There is potential, just missing much order, prioritize what really matters: people who
are consequently who give value to the supply chain. The option I see more useful and
viable, is that we encourage the value of recycling, promote it clean production and
consumption. I guess you could if we unite ours forces.
