Description: .Smart home technology is the integration of

technology and services through home networking for a better quality of living.Here the system
is capable of controlling the appliance by receiving control messages from a sensor. We control
the home appliance from the sensor. Microcontroller is the heart of our system, which controls
the overall operation of our system. Through this system we can save our unutilized energy.
When someone will enter into the room then only the light will be on unless automatically the
load will be cut-off through the different system. We are using a relay because our
Microcontroller cannot provide the maximum current to on or off an appliance. In contrast, a
microcontroller not only accepts the data as inputs but also manipulates it, interfaces the data
with various devices, controls the data and thus finally gives the result.
This project uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage
regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac
output of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer. Signal Processing is needed for
interfacing home appliance and it is controlled by relay. Accurate precision control System can
be monitored and energy can be saved.
