EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Askari Bank is one of the leading banks of Pakistan incorporated in 1991. It has made significant
contributions in building and strengthening both corporate and retail banking sector in Pakistan. This
report is an upshot of my six weeks internship in Askari Bank Ltd. of Pakistan.
Askari Bank of Pakistan possesses an imperative importance in the banking sector of Pakistan. It has
become the center of hustles in business activities. It always endows with great covenant of rally
round in terms of funds and services at all epochs of its dynamism. The main purpose of internship is
to learn, by working in practical environment and to apply the knowledge acquired, during the studies,
in a real world scenario in order to tackle the problems. In this report the detailed analysis of the
organization has been done.
There are also some positive as well as some negative aspects that I came experienced by. I gained
confidence, learned the functions of the banking sectors, interactions and dealings with the valued
customers. The negative aspect involved individualism and work load. I also used certain skills of my
own self which included communication, listening, technical, managerial and interpersonal skills. The
new skills I came by and learned were analytical skills and tactics to deal with every type of
customers.
There are also some challenges that I faced which included working environment and conditions,
experience gap and difficulty in understanding technicalities of different departments. However the
finalizing of the internship did help out a lot in improving these gaps and reducing them to a critical
level. The internship I did would be helpful to the students as well as professionals. I can provide the
guidelines and suggestions to them. This time period spend would influence my future career plans as
it provided me with the opportunity of practical exposure. I am now e to identify the feasibility of
myself.
