3C INTEGRATED TEACHING APPROACH

Character, Content and Competence are the three essential elements required for
an individual to become successful in todays competitive world. This is what 3C
exactly stands for Character, Content and Competence.
The 3C curriculum created by MDN Edify Education is designed to provide functional
and practical education for children so that they can thrive in a globalised world.
The curriculum has adopted the best practices of national and international boards.
The learning theories such as Blooms Taxonomy and Multiple Intelligences have
been integrated to form the base of the curriculum to cater to the wide range of
students differences. The 3C provides the frame work of curriculum which is
Inquiry based, the most innovative approach, where Why is encouraged and
What is nurtured. The concept encourages the children to discover and explore
the world in their own way.
Unlike the traditional school of thought, learning is not confined to the
framework of a particular subject; instead, the curriculum focuses on trans
disciplinary learning.
The students explore a particular problem by integrating the perspective of multiple
disciplines order to connect new knowledge and deeper understanding. As a result,
the students become creative thinkers who will take action as a result of learning.
The distinctive features of 3C are the six transdisciplinary themes. They contribute
to the uniqueness of the curriculum. The subjects are integrated into the
transdisciplinary themes which help children to connect with real life.
