2. BioMed Central
BioMed Central publishes 259 peer-reviewed open access journals.
3. BMJ Open
An online, open access journal, dedicated to publishing medical research from all disciplines and therapeutic areas. The
journal publishes all research study types, from study protocols to phase I trials to meta-analyses, including small or
specialist studies. Publishing procedures are built around fully open peer review and continuous publication, publishing
research online as soon as the article is ready.

5. ClinicalTrials.gov
Aregistry of federally and privately supported clinical trials conducted in the United States and around the world.
ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information about a trial's purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for
more details. This information should be used in conjunction with advice from health care professionals.
6. The Cochrane Library
The Cochrane Library is a collection of six databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence

to inform healthcare decision-making, and a seventh database that provides information about groups in The Cochrane
Collaboration.

19. Pain Assessment and Management Pathways
Patient care pathway maps developed by the British Pain Society are aimed at establishing evidence- and expert
consensus-based best practice for the management of chronic pain, and could form the basis for educational and
commissioning materials. This work is a very important component of the British Pain Society's strategy to improve the

Created by a Working Group at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the PHIL offers an organized,

public health messages. The content is organized into hierarchical categories of people, places, and science, and is
